Disney gave us extra FPs

I noticed yesterday that we now have an anytime FP for FOP for Friday the 6th and a Multiple Experience FP at MK on Saturday the 7th. We had to cancel our trip for this weekend due to Dorian and reschedule for next weekend. Were these extra FPs a way to say "sorry you had to postpone"? Or just a random act of pixie dust?

Yep, that's what happened to us when we cancelled for Irma 2 years ago. We actually got all of our FPs from the cxld trip turned into anytime FPs that loaded onto our account to use whenever. It was awesome! Enjoy!

Just curious-how do you "see" that you have anytime FP+s? When we were at OKW a few months ago, the manager said he'd given us any time 3 FP+s because of housekeeping issues we had. We were too embarrassed to ask him how we and the CMs would know, how the whole thing worked. We waited for him to give us something (like the old days of paper Fps) but since he didn't, we never knew.

True. Though those who stuck it out got a trip with low crowds and crazy unnecessary extended hours to spread out the crowds even more. I've never seen MK as empty as it was this morning. We got there almost 2 hours after opening and still could do whatever we wanted with no wait. We did have about a 10 minute wait for Mine Train, but other than that I felt like a time traveler to back when you could actually see the park empty. We even got to do Space twice in a row without having to leave the exit. Hollywood Studios is the greatest thing ever right now if you ignore GE in the mornings and save it for the afternoon/evening. And even FoP FP have been plentiful when refreshing.
