Disney Fund Game????? Anyone up for it?

i tried looking and wondered if anyone was interested on a disney fund game?

The idea is everyone who wants to join gets a number and you each set a figure that you want to save for your disney trip. You then come here and keep a tally of your savings and how you done did it i.e

ebay sale
Yard sale
money from earnings.
gift money
savings tin.

Its a fun way to get ideas on saving and keep each other motivated.

I will play. My next trip in not scheduled until 2014. We have some debt we would like to pay off so no trip this year. Next year we have to go to New York for DH's cousins Sweet 16 part. It is a surprise for her. Can't wait!!! That trip will cost about as much as a Disney vacation so no Disney next year. I am not really sure I can go 3 years without a trip. The longest I have gone since I started going to Disney is 2 years and that was only because we had a bunch of pipes (like 3!) break two months before the trip.

Anyway.... I am trying to plan a trip that involves no real household money. I am hopoing I can pull it off. If not, no trip until 2014. My budget is $2000.

$2000 - budget
$10 - Disney Gift Card from Disney Movie Rewards
$50 - 2 $25 Rainforest Cafe gift cards (will cover a lunch)

$1940 - left to go

Hi well we also are having no trips till oct 2013
We have a savings jar which we put in as much as is in my purse each night. We also put in any money the children get given from their aunties or grandad.
I am also in a savings club, I give my step mum £20 pounds each week and get £1000 back in December. However next year I will pay more in so we get our spends back.
I don't sell things on eBay as my children wear things out!
Cannot wait to hear other ideas
