Disney From the Road Photo Thread

One of our favorite parts of any Disney trip is when we first drive onto WDW property. Something about first seeing Disney from the road really sets the stage for a trip. How about a photo thread taken from the road at WDW; whether entering parking lots, seeing resorts, icons from the road, etc.

For starters, here is Spaceship Earth from the road. One of our favorite first sights of any trip.

Well I haven't done that type of shot very often...I go there so often, I sort of take those views for granted. I still get excited when I see them, I just don't think about whipping out the camera.

I had actually gone decades without an entrance gate shot, finally remedied on the way up the first week of June:

And I know this isn't a 'road' shot...but for me, it has the same feeling - this is the view you get of Magic Kingdom when you are first approaching it from the resort boats of Contemporary/Wilderness Lodge/Fort Wilderness...it has the same king of magic for me:
