Hi Guys

So we got back from Florida yesterday, not to the parks this time but to a villa on the gulf coast. It was certainly weird not going to the parks or to anything Disney related as if not we go to Vero Beach. Definitely missed it but we chose to go to the gulf after visiting the parks at Christmas.

Next question though! My friends have said they want to go to Disney and I've been before quite a few times to say the least, id most likely to organise it. I am going to look into it and put it to them but obviously have a few questions.

We'd be 20. Would we be able to check in to a Disney resort? We'd most likely stay at All Star or Pop seen as they are the cheapest and we are still students after all! I know a lot of hotels ask someone to be at least 21, this is my only concern.
Is it best to book everything together as a package or separately? What have you found is best/cheapest?

No doubt ill think of more questions. Would really help just so I can get it the cheapest and easiest for us.

Thanks!

Jack

Hi Jack.
Just looked at Disney UK's T&C's. You will be fine age 20.

The Lead Name must be 18 years old at the time of booking and possess the legal capacity and authority to book a Holiday as the lead name and to accept, and does accept, on behalf of the Booking Group, the provisions of these terms and conditions.

Me and my friend went when we were 17 & 18 and 18 & 19, no problem at all.

Ah thats one thing thats okay then - wasn't sure as I know a lot of hotels require you to be 21 so thats fine.

Really its not that bad through Disney, it'd be around £1200 for us each including tickets and DDP at OKW, but maybe thats me wanting to go back to where I love most and should maybe look for all star and look at the quick DDP?

Has anyone used the quick ddp? Whats it like, is there too much fast food or was it just easier?

Personally I would never buy the DDP's, QSDDP is going to cost $37.58pd on US site £24.99 on UK site, that is a lot of food you need to consume to get value.

What time of year you considering? is free dining available? how many sharing a room?

A dummy booking for a random 2 weeks in August.
If 4 of you at All stars and add QSDDP it would be £3,498.04 with tickets.
4 at POFQ with free DDP it would only be £2,723.70
4 at OKW with free regular DDP £3,162.60

Cheaper to stay at OKW than a value resort.

Yeah would never buy the DDP, we wouldnt get the value.

We were looking early June or late August. Trying to miss peak periods so the free dining would be available.

There would be 3 of us probably, the other person most likely wont be able to go so looking at 3. Seems OKW or a moderate with the free DDP is best looking at around £1400 for 3 of us. That doesnt seem too bad to me or for others is that expensive? Haven't done a package in so long!

Prices based on 3 people with 14 day tix.

All stars no DDP £1,846.60
POFQ & QSDDP £2,471.70
OKW & Reg DDP £2,910.60
Prices less 3% Quidco.
$100 gift card included
+ flights.

If late August then free QSDDP could be available at the value resorts if you book on Disney.com I think it started 25th Aug this year.
