How can I persuade my DH that a trip to WDW over Christmas break, would be the best present ever for our 2 DD and me? (him too of course) And if I can convince him, how soon should I book our trip? I've priced it out and it's in our usual budget area. Asked the girls if they would be ok with small gifts and a trip to disney and they were all for it. Our best vacations seem to happen at WDW and we are in desperate need of a good one right about now.:earboy2:

:rotfl: :rotfl: LOL that is so funny :rotfl2: I just posted about how to talk dh into another trip in the same yr-hadnt read the boards before posting! Us girls need to stick togther and come up with a master plan of attack! All I want for christmas is my WDW! Good luck!:thumbsup2

LOL, yes Netti, us women need to stick together and come up with a master plan. The DH loves WDW as much as us girls in the family, thank goodness for that, he would just rather go to different places. Our last trip was in Nov. 2004 and it's way tooo long. I have other motives for going then, but mostly to spend with just my family and enjoy the holidays with them.

I'm sure we can come up with some kind of master plan. Let's keep working on it.:woohoo:

I don't know what the best way to convinve the dh is, but I would suggest booking now -- especially if you are looking at WL or the Poly or somewhere similar. There are people that spend every Christmas at "their" resort, and book it early. The balconies get decorated and everything. The week before Christmas isn't too bad, but the weekend before Christmas is when it starts to fill up.

Good luck.

Hi Girls its me Nettii My DH does love Disney too, but the other day he said those dreded words "There are other places to go besides Disney":scared:  OMG he must have been joking! :confused3

Not sure how to convince DH to go at the most beautiful, but busy time of the year. The decorations are wonderful and there are many special events(Candlelight Processional is one of my favorites) but you also need to know that it is verrrry busy. I am glad that we went at Christmas, but it takes a lot of patience. If you don't mind the long lines and being very crowded all the time, it is great. If your DH likes Christmas then you could entice him with all the decorations.

Your best weapon is your research and making billing it as the family present instead of all the other stuff. If you have your ducks all in a row I would think he would be more interested in hearing you out and capitulating:lmao:. If that doesn't work PRAY:rotfl2:.

Thank goodness my DH would go to WDW as often as possible:cloud9:.
