Somehow I seem to have come home with only pictures of desserts! LOL They are the best though. YUM!

These were our favorite desserts, all from The Plaza restaurant in Magic Kingdom. We also truly enjoyed the cheesesteak sandwich and the chicken sandwich there. We ate at the Plaza twice on our trip.

DH got this chocolate shake the first time and it was soooooo chocolately. Perfect for a chocolate lover like me but a bit too chocolatey for him.

DD orders off the kids menu and chose the cookies and milk our first visit. The cookies are pretty small, about the diameter of a can of soda. She enjoyed them but drank the milk down in one gulp, because it is a TINY bit of milk! Our 2nd visit to The Plaza she had the Mickeylodeon (ice cream in a dish with chocolate wafers for Mickey ears and a cone for a hat) and she loved that way more than these cookies.

And the best dessert in the entire Walt Disney Resort... the brownie sundae! Both of my DS and myself ordered this both times and we LOVED it each time. The brownies are delish and have chunks of chocolate in them. And the fudge topping is DIVINE! I see the cherry gobbler got there before I could get the camera out though...

I asked Chef Harry to explain which buffet options were vegetarian or pescetarian, and he brought me this plate. The tabouli and hummus were delicious. The edamame and cucumber salad were also very good. Sorry, I dug into it before taking the pic. I had not been taking pictures of the buffet meals, but this plate was the exception.

Chocolate “moose”
IMG_4785.jpg

Chocolate Whisky Cake – good. But, I started requesting desserts without the Hidden Mickey sprinkles. They’re not very tasty, and hard to pick out of the sauces.
IMG_4786.jpg

A very good meal. I will definitely try for ADRs there again.
Menu descriptions and prices from allears.net.
For other "pescetarians," the tempura roll is lacto-ovo on the salmon plate.

Shutter’s at Old Port Royale

We had ADRs at Tony’s for this night, but MK was CROWDED. We decided a better use of time was the CBR themed pool and dinner at Shutters. It was good, but we couldn’t finish the dessert after 8 days of DDP. We were able to get a last minute ADR without a problem.

Served with Shutter’s potatoes (mashed sweet potato) and vegetarian black beans with rice.
