I want to put my 2 cents in here... The schoolbread has LONG been crowned one of the best desserts ANYWHERE on Disney property!!!! It's popularity is right up there with the Dolewhip (which I was never all that impressed with myself... JMHO). The schoolbread is absolutely AWESOME!!!! It's like a *good* bavarian creme donut, only with better bread, and almond slivers....
My only concern is that I have noticed the schoolbread has SHRUNK!!! It used to be nearly TWICE that size!!! (Or is it just the pictures? It sure looks smaller than I remember, and I've had more than my share of those delicious babies!) I am hoping that since it appears to have shrunk, that they haven't cheapened the whole thing. Disney has a tendency to do that. The size of the school bread made it one of the best dessert values anywhere on property as well. My wife and I would split one almost every trip.

It was like I always said (sorry if you get tired of hearing it...) There's a few things that you HAVE to do on every trip to WDW...
1) Get a BIG LONG sip of luke warm IRON FLAVORED "Disney" fountain water (best location is just outside the Haunted Mansion) and try your best to swallow it. That way your brain knows... "Yep... It's true we're ACTUALLY here!!!!"
2) Drink some Beverly at Epcot (actually it's one of my favorites as my sig states)
3) Eat a schoolbread at Norway Bakery!!!!!
4) Ride Jungle Cruise at night!

My DW says the water at WDW is like the water on Madagascar... you spray it all over the concrete! You dont actually drink it!!!!

It was pretty good. Nothing special, but good. I can't figure out what makes it Asian though.

I LOVE that cake! It's the Ginger that makes it Asian

It has been 18 months since I have had the AMAZING schoolbread, but I thought that I remembered mine being covered in coconut, I don't remember almond slivers. I may be wrong and if I am, someone please correct me. Either way, it is AWESOME!

I would have to agree...We also got the ham & cheese coissant from the pastry shop in France (only 1 snack credit too) and split them both for lunch.
