Great pictures!!! What did you think of the Crab Crusted Snapper compared to the Surf and Turf? I will be going to Narcoossee's on my upcoming trip and was thinking on trying the Surf and Turf. Seeing the crab crusted Snapper has me stuck between the two now. They both look wonderful!

Beautiful pictures DznyDreamz!!!!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed them. I spent months drooling at other people's pictures so I figured it was only fair to return the favor.

How was this????? I would love to get one on our next trip if its really good.:drinking1

This was fantastic! I am not a fan of overly sweet drinks and this one hit the spot. The peach nectar offsets the sweetness of the prosecco and was light and refreshing on a hot sunny afternoon. I recommend having more then one like I did :thumbsup2

The crab crusted snapper was probably my favorite dish of the week. It was light with a nice crust on the top, very "clean" tasting and the wine they paired with it was superb. DH enjoyed the surf & turf but said the filet at Yachtsman (still have to post those pics) was the best he has ever had. And trust me, he has sampled MANY different filets over the years. Its pretty much is go-to dish since he isn't overly adventuresome. I was going to get the surf & turf or lobster also, but I decided I could find that on lots of menus around WDW and other places we go. I have never been somewhere that had something like the snapper so I went for it and was very pleased with my choice.

Thank you very much! I think that's what I'm going to try this time. Thans!!!

I agree about the terrible chicken nuggets at 50's PT. I don't know why they can't just give kids the same great nuggets as everybody else - especially at a TS restaurant!

Monzarella and Tomato salad

My four year old is positively drooling over this! He loves "monsterella" :lmao: cheese and tomatoes!

So glad you posted this, it's one dish I've been waiting to see! I think it will be mine......;)

It does look good, right? I had you all pegged for the fish with the clams though...

I am there in 9 days...I can't wait to try this place.

Now you know I'm going to ask you all about what you guys have.;) I have always LOVED sole and we don't get it very often here so if it's on the menu and looks good, it's mine.......:thumbsup2

The kids meal choices in general are pretty lousy except for the 2 table service places. 50's was by far the worst. These were like processed hockey pucks. Ick.

This was a very yummy dish. DH really enjoyed it very much and it was definately one of his favs. There was a nice crisp crust on the outside and the inside was well cooked and flaky. Not greasy or dried out at all. All in all this was an amazing restaurant.

Yachtsman Steakhouse:
Waygu Beef served with mashed potatoes

Porterhouse - 24 oz. Center Cut Porterhouse with Fingerling Potatoes and Roasted Garlic Butter

Strawberry Shortcake made with a tart lemon cornbread with a liquor sauce of some kind.

...neither of us remember what this is.

Kona Cafe:
Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes - with macadamia nut butter,, pineapple sauce and sausage

Tonga Toast - banana stuffed sourdough bread, rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with Strawberry Compote and sausage (should have gotten the pancakes)

Artist Point:
It's a spinach salad of some sort - it's not on a menu that I can find - but the dressing was good, there was radishes and blue cheese, and the onions were pickled which added a great flavor to the salad.

A Selection of Artisan Cheeses - Served with Riesling-poached raisins, dried cranberries, and walnut toast
L-R: white cheddar with the walnut toast, blue cheese with the raisins and goat cheese with the cranberries

Grilled Buffalo Sirloin Steak - Served with sweet potato-hazelnut gratin and sweet onion jam

...another one we don't remember - though it has to be a tenderloin of some sort. The topping was a nut butter and a basil pesto was the green - and I only remember that one because he wouldn't eat his food without knowing what that "green stuff" was on his plate.

Blackberry and Fig Tart served with buttermilk and blackberry swirl ice cream

...and all we remember about this one was it came with Grand Marnier whipped cream.
