For dinner, we went to Rose and Crown
100_2168.jpg

[/IMG]

I had the cheese plate, yummy, but the one on the left is mushroom something, so I didn't eat that...yuk!
100_2172.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the samosas...she said they were good, but really spicy
100_2173.jpg

[/IMG]

I had the steak and fish...the fish was delicious as always, but the steak was tough and kind of gross
100_2175.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the lamb....sooooo good
100_2177.jpg
[/IMG]

I had the chocolate scotch cake for dessert...the frosting was good, but it was pretty much generic chocolate cake
100_2179.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the apple crumble with no ice cream
100_2180.jpg
[/IMG]

The next day we had lunch at Liberty Tree
100_2204.jpg
[/IMG]
...it was ok, but there was this group that sat in our room of two families who let the boys run allllll over the entire restaurant the whole time...kind of ruined it a bit

We both had the fried cheese, which was ok, but kind of cold, so the cheese wasn't all stringy or anything...
100_2200.jpg
[/IMG]

We both also had the Pilgrim's Feast, which was good as well....like I said, probably would have enjoyed it more if a couple of 5 year old monsters weren't running past my table and screaming...
100_2201.jpg
[/IMG]

I had the strawberry shortcake
100_2202.jpg
[/IMG]

And my mom had the ooey gooey cake
100_2203.jpg
[/IMG]

Not our best meal, but we wanted to try it....we probably won't go back

For dinner, we went to Tutto Italia....sooooo good, one of our favorite meals all week
100_2206.jpg
[/IMG]

Bread basket...ok, we didn't est much because we were eating sooo much other food
100_2215.jpg
[/IMG]

I had the proscuitto and melon...sooo good. There was a ton of cantelope underneath
100_2216.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the salad, which was good, but the stuff on the breadstick was gross:sad2:
100_2217.jpg
[/IMG]

I had the bucatini, but forgot to take a pic before I put my fork in it, ooops...This was excellent, but really rich and creamy
100_2218.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the lasagna, which was wonderful
100_2219.jpg
[/IMG]

We were too full, so we got our desserts to go, the one on the left was some kind of fruit cake, and the one on the right was a cake with marzipan...this was my favorite dessert all week, I would go back just for this. We took a picture before we left the restaurant...
100_2221.jpg
[/IMG]
And then we walked back to our resort, and the dessert didn't survive the trip so well....it was still delicious though:rotfl2:
100_2223.jpg
[/IMG]

We had lunch at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe...I ordered the artichoke cheese dip, which was my favorite appetizer all week....sooooo yummy
100_2226.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the salad
100_2227.jpg
[/IMG]

I had a very greasy pepperoni pizza, which was just ok
100_2228.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the barbeque chicken pizza
100_2229.jpg
[/IMG]

For dessert, I had the creme brulee, which was great...I finished the whole thing:rolleyes1
100_2230.jpg
[/IMG]

And my mom had the cheesecake
100_2231.jpg
[/IMG]

so i got back the other night and here goes a few things. took a few pics of each but im not the best photographer out there :).

sunday went over to tutto italia. the lasagna was terrific. desert went with the cheese cake which again was pretty decent.

so i cant find where i uploaded my pics from sunday so i'll start off with monday's dinner at yak&yeti with the crispy mahi mahi. which after seeing other reviews of in the past, i actually enjoyed how its breaded along with the sauce.
P1000131.jpg

next would be the sorbet trio. not a big fan of how rich the flavor's were, but still edible for me
P1000133.jpg

for tuesday as i was going to the mnnshp i decided on a late dinner at tony's town square. had the new york strip steak, minus the broccoli. doesnt look like much but they managed to make it medium like i asked which ive always had problems in the past elsewhere in parks with my steaks.
P1000210.jpg

desert was the ice cream bomb. pretty good imo.
P1000211.jpg

Wednesday was over to mama melrose as i chose to go with the fantasmic dinner package again.
of course i had to get the calamari which was delicious as always.
P1000314.jpg

the chicken parmigiana for the entree. the chicken part was great, the noodles, were just average.
P1000315.jpg

the truffle cake, was 1 of my highlights so far
P1000316.jpg

ended my night on thursday with a trip to chef de france.
i decided to stick to my basics this time again and went with the grilled tenderloin of beef. again really juicy with alot of flavor and was done right. not a big fan of that type of green beans but they did go down decently. the potatoes were also very good.
P1000442.jpg

i forget the exact name of this desert, but the chocolate was soo rich but still totally enjoyable.
P1000443.jpg

Next meal, Chefs de France for dinner....phew this is hard work:scared:
I had the flatbread with bacon and cheese, no onion...delicious as always:thumbsup2
100_2239.jpg

My mom got the french onion soup, which I know you've seen a million times, but just because, I took a pic also
100_2240.jpg
[/IMG]

I got the duck with the sauce on the side (in the other pics on here, it looked like it was drowning in it:rotfl: ) It was sooooo yummy, I didn't eat the leg, just the sliced pieces of breast in the front
100_2243.jpg
[/IMG]

And my mom had the mac and cheese, which she asked them to leave in a little longer, so it would be crispy...I think the waiter thought we were nuts:rotfl2:
100_2244.jpg
[/IMG]

And we were again to full, so we got dessert to go... I got the apple caramel crepe, which was covered in sauce, and just ok
100_2246.jpg
[/IMG]

And my mom got the fruit tart cake thing (i don't remember what it was called, but it was not good)
100_2245.jpg
[/IMG]

Next, we had lunch at 50s prime time
100_2300.jpg
[/IMG]

I was so excited to get the fried herb cheese, but apparently, they no longer have it, so I settled for mediocre generic chicken noodle soup:sad2:
100_2290.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom got the salad
100_2291.jpg
[/IMG]

I had the fried chicken with corn instead of southern greens (yuck:eek: ) which I was a little disappointed in, I'd have to say I prefer KFC
100_2292.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the chicken pot pie, which was good, but had mushrooms...they were big, so it was easy to pick them out though
100_2294.jpg
[/IMG]

I finally tried the smores, and I was not disappointed...yum!!!
100_2297.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the angel food cake, which I had last year and liked, but she said the strawberries were kind of gross this time...
100_2298.jpg
[/IMG]

Phew...I think I'm like halfway done...geez
We then ate dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby, which, yes, I realize is not worth two credits, but we were too full and couldn't fit any other meals in, and we didn't want to do a show or dress nice for dinner, so...this was pretty much our only option. It was really good, but definitely not worth two credits. I had the crab cake, and I don't really like seafood, but there wasn't anything else that sounded good, and this was actually amazing
100_2305.jpg
[/IMG]

My mom had the cobb salad for one, no blue cheese....this looks soooo pretty, I've never seen pictures of the salad with the carved flower veggies like this before...
100_2306.jpg
[/IMG]

We both got the steak, which was really good, but huge
100_2308.jpg
[/IMG]

Neither of us like grapefruit, but since they are famous for it, we thought we should try the grapefruit cake....yuck, not good, maybe if you like grapefruit, but too bitter for me
100_2310.jpg
[/IMG]

And the creme brulee, which was just ok, nothing special
100_2309.jpg
[/IMG]

Ok, I'm taking a break now, I will be back with more pics tonight

Shrimp and scallops - delicious, even the rice was extremely good

another view

I am so bummed. I was thinking of changing my lunch ADR from San Angel to here, but neither of these items are on their lunch menu :sad1: . I already have a LeCellier for dinner that I DO NOT want to change. I am just not as excited about San Angel as I thought I would be. I would love to have the shrimp and scallops.

Wow thank you for such a beautiful food report!

I can not wait to go in November!

Ok, more pics, yay!!! On to our last full day:sad2: We canceled our lunch reservations at coral reef and made last minute ones at teppan edo because I had heard such great things on here, and I'm so glad we did...it was amazing!!
100_2361.jpg
[/IMG]
100_2336.jpg
[/IMG]

Our appetizers came out before our chef, "Kenji." I had the edemame, which was good, but I wasn't quite sure how to eat it, even with the easy to use chopsticks they made us:lmao:
100_2343.jpg

100_2344.jpg
[/IMG]
And my mom got the vegetable croquettes, which were much better, they were really sweet and didn't taste like veggies at all, which is probably why I liked them:rotfl:
100_2341.jpg
[/IMG]
100_2342.jpg
[/IMG]

Our chef was amazing, he was soooo funny
100_2347.jpg

100_2351.jpg
[/IMG]
100_2357.jpg
[/IMG]
100_2355.jpg
[/IMG]

I got the filet, which was awesome
100_2356.jpg
[/IMG]

And my mom got the chicken, which was also great
100_2358.jpg
[/IMG]

And for dessert, I got the chocolate ginger cake, which was ok...I liked the chocolate half anyway:)
100_2359.jpg
[/IMG]

And my mom got the fruit tart, which was ok. We spent most of the time trying to figure out what fruit it was, it looked like apple, but didn't really taste like it
100_2360.jpg
[/IMG]

This place was so much fun, and the food was great, we did leave smelling like we just came from a Denny's tho:rotfl2:

Wow thank you for such a beautiful food report!

I can not wait to go in November!

Thanks, it was so much fun, we had an awesome time...we did get some strange looks for taking pictures of our food, and we forgot towards the beginning before we started to take a bite (which we tried to hide, but you can definitely tell:rotfl: )

We ate at Le Cellier for dinner (yes, we always eat here and Rose and Crown twice because they are our favorites:thumbsup2 ) so I won't post pics of the repeats we ordered
Yummy bread
100_2498.jpg

I ordered the cheese soup again (of course) and my mom got the salad, which is her favorite
100_2500.jpg

We both got the filets (again, of course, who goes to Le Cellier and doesn't get the filet??? )

We were too full for dessert, so we got the chocolate whiskey cake to go (I wish you could get creme brulee to go, but our waiter said that wasn't an option, hmmm I wonder why not:lmao: )
100_2503.jpg

Ok, last meal, then time for some food and wine and snack pictures. We had our last lunch at Rose and Crown (see, I told you guys we eat there twice :))

Here is the cheese bread
100_2556.jpg

I got the cheese plate again, and because my mom did not like her spicy samosas, she got yet another salad....
100_2557.jpg

And we both ordered fish and chips
100_2559.jpg

And apple crumbles
100_2560.jpg

Ok, now time for food and wine pics...we didn't get to eat many snacks at the festival because we were always too full, I wonder why??:rotfl2: but I did take pictures of the ones we got. I also took pictures of all of the menus, but that's a little off topic, so if you're interested, pm me and I can send you them.

Our first snack was the lamb slider from Wellington, which was amazing. I had never tried lamb before, but it was soooo good.
100_2098.jpg

Then we got the strawberry shortcake from San Francisco, which looked better than it tasted
100_2103.jpg

Then we got the lobster roll and a Sam Adams cherry wheat beer. The beer was great, but we are used to lobster tail, and this was definitely not lobster tail. And then my mom got a piece of shell, and it was all over:rotfl2: It was an excellent use of a snack credit though, it would have cost 7 bucks oop:scared1:
100_2456.jpg

This is from the free Sam Adams beer tasting, which was so fun, and we got bottle opener keychains, too. Definitely worth taking 20 minutes of your afternoon to do this
100_2473.jpg

This is the cheese plate with apple chutney from Cork, Ireland. This was good, but almost too much cheese, which probably isn't really a problem
100_2478.jpg

And the boxty from Cork, Ireland. I didn't try this, but my mom liked it.
100_2476.jpg

100_2477.jpg

The apple strudel from Germany, which I liked, but warning, there are raisins in it, and I'm not sure that was in the description
100_2483.jpg

Our last snack from the festival was the chocolate creme brulee from France, which was a HUGE disappointment. It tasted like a snack pack that someone had burnt the top of:lmao:
