Hello all
New to this board but I had to say all these food pics are great and gave me so many ideas of where I would like to eat:thanks:
Sorry I cannot contribute yet(planning our first trip for April) but hopefully by then there will be a new thread started as I'm sure this one will be closed by then. I would of never thought to take pics of food but game on come April.

Now, I don't think I ever posted this one? I just found it while browsing my Photobucket.

Okay, I know this isn't Disneyworld food, but since it's still Disney food, I thought some of you might enjoy it. :goodvibes This is a picture of a cake my mom ordered for my high school graduation party this year. The cake inside was vanilla with a layer of vanilla cream. It was really good.:cool1: The picture is a little bit small, but you can still make out the Ariel, Aurora, Belle and Cinderella characters and a bit of the writing.

We're leaving for WDW on Wednesday, so when we get back I'll have tons or REAL Disney food to post!:woohoo:

We got the same cake for DD's birthday!

Thank you for posting the pics of food. It makes it easier for those of us looking for good places to eat. That food at Whispering Canyon and the tea look amazing. I am counting down to go back to WDW even more now!!!:dance3:

I'm sure you already know this, but just in case you don't, Whispering Canyon is a gag restaurant. I love the place! but If you go in expecting a regular meal, or if you don't have a sense of humor you might be really surprised.;)

Self, are you saying that might not be my cup of tea? :rotfl:

I once went to Dick's Last Resort in Myrtle Beach, an insult restaurant and they gave me an employment application along with my bill. :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I am the oldest of 8. I give as well as take. :scared1:

I've always wanted to go to Dicks. I plan to hit it on my next trip to Myrtle. I've been in their pawn shop many times, but never the restaurant. Its on my to-do list outside of WDW. My "restaurant "to -do list outside of WDW is VERY short. Hooters (no, I've never been to one), Dicks, Emerils, and "Try My Nuts" at OBX. Other than those 4, every OTHER restaurant on my list is at Disney. If you like Dicks; You'll be fine!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I'm having a craving for Beaches and Cream, so I thought I'd post a pic!

The Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes at Kona Cafe- is the pancake plain with garnish or is there pineapple and/or macadamian nuts in the batter also?
Just wondering if I can reproduce this at home? :)

There are definitely macadamia nuts in it- not sure about pineapple.

Every time I read the menus at Hollywood Studios my eyes always wonder to that Cobb Salad at Brown Derby. Is it good? Really good? It sure sounds good. Also, what did you think of Brown Derby overall.
I'm looking for an excuse to check it out. I just don't think (from the menu at least) that it looks like a 2 TS credit meal to me. Especially when you compare it to the food at say... CA Grill.

I think the Cobb Salad at the Brown Derby is VERY GOOD!

SEDebtFree, I am delighted to tell you that Starring Rolls right next to the Brown Derby serves Cobb Salad as well as the flourless chocolate cake, for far less cash than the BD, and it is a CS. They also occasionally have the grapefruit cake. No tipping either. The Cobb Salad is fantastic!

I am not sure that Dick's is still around as when my dd and family went last year I did a search of it to send them in that direction, without a warning, and did not find it. Let me know if you get there. I love MB. I get lost easily and as long as I stay on 17 I am fine even if I go the wrong way I can just turn back around and make it home.
