Thanks :)

We kept Mickey for a while but unfortunately the temptation was too much and shortly after we arrived home we ate him .... and he was delicious.

Clare - Loved, loved, loved your pix!

Raglan Road & Artist Point - two restaurants I'm trying for the first time in June! Looked delicious!

Fulton's - one of my family's favorites. It a must-do every trip for us and it was nice to see some pictures. Didn't anyone order their infamous Alaskan King Crab legs? YUM!

My daughers would love the white choc. Mickey! We always stay at the BWV - I'm looking into that for our trip in Nov. Thanks for posting it!

Thanks - we loved the food :rotfl:

We were really impressed with Raglan Road, great food, although we did only for lunch. Also, Artist Point - fantastic :)

Unfortunately we're not big crab/lobster eaters so gave the king crab legs a miss.

Great pics Clare - OMG that Grouper at Olivia's looks amazing.:thumbsup2 And I just adore Blue Zoo.....:cloud9:

Good memory!:rotfl: Yep, this was the worst meal of the trip and the one I was most excited about. I love fried green tomatoes The tuna was very rare, which I didn't mind. The fried green tomatoes were so hard you couldn't cut them. The tempura crab was mostly tempura with a tiny speck of crab. The wasabi hollandaise was missing the wasabi. The tuna was ice cold. The asparagus were good though, that's all I could eat. Three of us ordered this and couldn't eat it.

I know this is old news for you subscribers but when I read this I was very depressed, the dish sounded very good to me too. I love Fried Green Tomatoes and crab and holandaise and wasabi and to have them all together in one plate was something to behold. Very disappointed to hear it was not good. Might still try it though, could have been an off night right?

:confused3

I want a white chocolate Mickey with tuxedo strawberries now!

Oh... Marilyn... you sound like the spoiled girl from Willie Wonka!!!! :lmao: (note to self... call Disney and order...)

Thanks for all the pictures We only have 15 more days till our WDW vacation and I can not wait to try Raglan Road we are eating there for the first time and looks really good. :)

Please don't let my take on the place sway you! There isn't a restaurant in all of WDW that can please everyone, KONA just isn't the place for us. Wishing you pixiedust: on your visit!!!;)

Holy moly - that is a HUGE side order of hummus!

Will they give you more chips if you request it? How did you like the appy at Chefs de France? I'm trying it with my DD for the first time this June; would love some opinions.

It was a HUGE side of hummus - and I asked the waiter for a small side of hummus! The people around me kept looking at my table, and one guy told his wife, "man, she must really like her hummus."

I had a really nice waiter that night (I can't remember his name) so I didn't actually have to ask for more chips, he brought them to me when he saw I almost ate all of them.

I really like Chefs de France - my two favorite things on the menu are the wild mushroom flatbread (which is HUGE) and the salad. I was afraid, while eating the salad, that someone was going to call the indecent police on me because I kept oohing and ahhing with every bite! I love the salad so much that I just made a reservation for May 5 for dinner. YUM! You'll love Chefs de France - the portions there are pretty hearty, and the food presents well. Just a note, they serve traditional European style, so the waitstaff stands to the side, waiting for you to call them over. They still do occasionally come over, but some of the tables are close together, so they don't "wander" between the tables very often. I hope you have a good dining experience in June.

What's the menu like now? We're supposed to go on Mother's Day!

I like the new menu and presentation. They have a few new items on the menu - I know there is a fish item, I think a new chicken item, and some other meat entree. Specific, right?!? I've eaten there twice since the new menu - the first time, I just got a bastilla and the new goat cheese sails. And the second, just to get the goat cheese sails - with a HUGE side of hummus. So I actually haven't tried any of the new entrees, but they sound really good. I really wanted to try the new fish entree, but I always eat dinner there - after having a full meal at lunch. So never have room for an entree.

But the restaurant does have all new plates that are big and wonderful shapes. I also noticed that they now present the food - instead of plopping food down cafeteria-style. Pretty food always tastes better! Oh, and after you finish eating, they come around with rose water for your hands. Smells lovely.

Mmmm wish I had some hummus right now. Those pics are great :)

Thanks! I took the leftovers home, and was eating hummus for three days. AND I still threw away over half of it (THE HORROR) because I was going out of town and couldn't save it.

For the first week of May, I have reservations for:
Kona Cafe - breakfast
Coral Reef - lunch
Chefs de France - dinner
Brown Derby - lunch
Mama Melrose - dinner

So I will have many more pics to post soon!

Main St. Bakery - this is what we ordered

French Toast loaf, cheese danish, frozen latte, apple turnover, egg, ham, and cheese croissant
