Disney Fonts

I am looking for a CD of Disney Fonts, is there such a thing??? I am afraid and most often do not know how to down load fonts from the internet. I always so afraid I am going to start a computer virus or something like that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Lynn

There are a lot of fonts on here, but I have yet to figure out how to download and use them. I'll have to corner DH this weekend. He's a computer nerd - gotta have one in every family!

http://www.creativedelights.com has several disney fonts for sale. I have ordered from there before without no troubles. Customer service is friendly and helpful. Sometimes they run $1.00 sales, sign up for their newsletter and you can get free fonts (not disney related though) and they will email you about sales.

I like www.momscorner4kids.com. They have a bunch of different Disney fonts--all of the fonts are listed alphabetically, so you'll have to look through them (especially under "M", go figure! ). They are free, though, and I love them! There are some cute "non-Disney" ones there, too! They also have the step-by-step directions for downloading. I am like you, I am always afraid that the computer will self-destruct, but I could figure this out! I hope this helps!

I love that one, too! I'm a big Winnie-the-Pooh fan, and that site has the Pooh font, and I think the Tigger one, too. I also like the Mickey Ears and the Minnie's Hat font. Yes, I'm a font junkie!!

Now as i am new to this, once i download them how do i actually go about using them??
Is there a tutorial about how to add to your digital scrapbooks!

In digital scrapping, it's very easy to use different fonts. Just download the file and extract it into your Windows/Fonts directory and that is it! Then open your program and use the Text tool and there should be a drop down box to change fonts. All the fonts in your windows/fonts directory will show up on the list.

Thanks, i did go to the sticky but some of the links no longer work, so i tried the new one and i still can't see where i am suppose to link the new font? It says to go to control panel and select fonts, but it is not there?

In your control panal there should be a fonts folder, that's where all your fonts are stored. Are you using XP?

i am still having trouble converting clip art? I just can figure out how to cut the white out of background?

I use PSPX and there is a background eraser tool. I just click it on the area and it deletes the unwanted background color. Not sure what program you use, more information would help us to help you out.

i have photoshop edition 5. I did try the erase tool and it works great but i cannot get a clean straight line??? It looks like a ragged edge.

I there a way to do this to all my clip art that is saved on my computer. There are some i have saved that i would like to use over and over but do not want to do this each time?

Once you have removed the backgrounds, save them as .png files. That will save the transparency. If you save them as .gif or .jpg (most will come in .gif form) they will add back a background when you save them.
