I know this doesn't belong on the budget board but you guys are my homies. Anyone know where I can download a Disney font? I bet somebody out there can help me.
Didn't it show up under your fonts? Mine reads Mickey, Minnie & Donald under fonts alphabetically. I only have three of them. The site you downloaded has a lot more, very cool.
You need to put the font in your windows font directory. The place you downloaded to isn't necessarily the font directory.
The easiest way is to open control panel. You'll see a font icon. Click on it, and click on install new fonts. Specify the directory where the font sits now.
What this does is copies the font from the downloaded area into the windows directory. You should be able to use it then.
Hi Dizneyprincess- It didn't install right away on my computer either- I don't know if this is the easiest way or not but after I downloaded it and extracted the file I clicked on the truetype font icon and physically dragged it to the fonts folder in control panel. When I dropped it in there it installed right away.

Here is another site- same idea- but it includes installation help.
I am going to make notes for the kids to leave on their bed each morning (from Mickey, or other characters) along with their pre-purchased trinkets.
On the cruise they are each getting a treat basket from Mickey (SandPails filled with beach toys, sunglasses, sunscreen, beachsnacks- all from the $1 store) and I will include a nice note from Mickey for each of them.
