How much do you think disney floral will cost me? I have 4 bms and a junior bm and 4 gm and 1 jgm. I would like to get flowers for my nan and pop and both sets of parents.

Also for centerpieces I just want something with candles and rose peddles. Iw ill most likely have 4 tables and the head table. I am inviting 50 but am expecting 30 to 40 people so I don't think we will need a lot of tables,I Don't know how many sit per table.

For my floral arrangements I just want all pink roses. Light pink and a brighter pink. I like the posey bouquets.

I see on here a lot of people say that they are expensive so thats why I am curious. Thanks. Honestly I do not want to spend a fortune on flowers.

My Aunt is a florist so I could have her put silk flowers together for me. I am undecided:confused:

I remember seeing someones picture of their flowers on here and they were silk and I swore they were real. I don't remember who it was though.

Lynn5700, that's a tough question that honestly only Disney can answer.

Now that my disclaimer is out of the way, I’ll try to help as much as I can. ;)

You can probably figure out a ballpark range for your wedding party’s flowers by searching the Dis to see what Disney’s current prices are. If you can’t find anything, then the following info is what I paid in October of 2004 for my FTW vow renewal. The prices, no doubt, are higher today.

My simple bouquet cost $225, while my bridesmaids’ bouquets cost $125 each. My husband’s boutonnière cost $17, while his groomsmen’s boutonnieres cost $10.50 each. My mother’s and aunt’s corsages cost $30 each, while my father’s boutonniere cost $10.50. Add sales tax to those figures.

Again, I don’t know what the prices are today. And the prices will depend somewhat upon what flowers you request and whether or not they’re in season. Out of season flowers, or flowers that are exotic, will obviously be more expensive.

As to the rest of your questions, I can’t remember what a bag of rose petals cost. Sorry about that. The pricing for your candles will depend upon what type and size you choose. For example, in the Gangster Venue of the GMR (where my dinner reception was held), the Disney Florist used 8” cylinders that were filled with crystals and a floating candle. This was a “rental” item and cost me $5.25 each (plus tax). Again, this pricing was from October of 2004.

I know I wasn’t much help, but perhaps others will chime in with what they’re currently paying. Again, only Disney can tell you for certain what these items will cost for your event.

By the way, here are some photos of my flowers and the candles at my cocktail party :

I was very pleased with what the Disney Florist did for my vow renewal. I thought their pricing was reasonable, plus, they didn't pressure me into over-decorating any of the venues for my event. Believe me, that was a breath of fresh air that took me completely by surprise when I saw their floral & decorating proposal.

I hope that if you choose to go with the Disney Florist, that you are as pleased with them as I was.

I'm using Disney Floral for my 9/02/07 wedding and just got my budget. I was pleasantly surprised that my bouquet is going to be a lot less than any of the ones in the Wishbook, but that's probably because it's so simple:

French hand tied bouquet designed with light blue and dark blue delphinium, stems wrapped 75% with Royal Blue satin ribbon: $85

I don't have a wedding party, so I can't comment bridesmaid bouquets. But I do also have...

Light and dark blue delphinium petals in ivory Mickey basket: $57.50. (I'm pretty sure it's the basket that's so expensive. I could have shopped around, I'm sure, for a better price, but I just loved the one I saw at Franck's.)

Wrist corsages are light and dark blue delphinium with filler, greens and sheer ivory ribbon: $21 each

Boutonnieres are white dendrobium orchids with ivy, lily grass and 350 Royal Blue satin ribbon stem wrap: $14.50 each

Ceremony decor is floral clusters of light and dark blue delphinium with greenery tied with white satin ribbon bows. (My ceremony is outdoors in the U.K. pavilion, so I'm not having more traditional altar/aisle decorations.) Half are $25 each, half are $12.50 each, for a total of $150 for the ceremony decor, all of which will be moved to the reception afterwards.

For the reception, I'm doing a "blue" modification of the Whimsical style that's in the Wishbook, so I don't know how much my prices will help you estimate what yours will be. A LOT of the cost for me are the rented chargers ($11.75 each!) and linens. My individual floral centerpieces range from $125 to $175 (different sizes.) Shotglass votive candles are $2.50 each. Battery operated votives for the kids' tables are $4.50 each. "Lollipop" centerpieces for the kids' tables are $55 each. And "scattered sea blue glass stones" for the cake table is $5.00. Finally, there's a $180 delivery fee, but I was not charged the "move" fee or "set" fee that are listed on the budget.

Hope this helps...

Thank you so much for sharing. I hope that you don't mind that I am going to "borrow" some of your pictures for my wedding. I love the candle centerpieces, and I really really love the purple roses.

Janet I loved the colors of your flowers. Very pretty!

Thank you for the help girls!

I think Janets prices are pretty much on the mark. Mybouquet is $275 (but it is a full one) My BM's bouquets are $125, Our crosages are about $25 and out boutannieres are about $12.

Our altar arrangement is a grouping of 6 vases and flowers mixed in with pillar candles and our unity. That is running about $300 but that is the only decor we are doing so we made it a large one you could certainly scale that back as well.

Centerpieces- we are having quite large ones so i won't even scare you with the price;) but if you want soemthing simple Disney can do it. Just let them know i want this and I want to spend x. What can you come up with? I negotiated a bit on my centerpieces fyi.

I think Disney's rounds can fit 8-10 people. We are doing 8 but at some tables there may be 7 and at some 9 just the way the seating works out for us. Hope this helps.
