Hi everyone,

I am looking into ordering a fun in room celebration or gift with the Disney Floral and Gift site and have it delivered to our hotel room. Anyone want to share their experience with it? Any photos to share? (I love looking at photos!!) Yes I know that bringing gifts with me and doing it myself is cheaper, but it will be our honeymoon and I want to surprise my fiancé with some sort of in-room celebration and can splurge!

Thank you! :)

We have always had very good service with them. Dh has ordered a flower delivery twice for me. Once they delivered them when I was in the shower. Another time I saw the van and had no idea...luckily they already had the arrangement in the room I believe. I have also had items I put together delivered to rooms by the front desk. I loved the flowers and the arrangements were beautiful. The self made items had a sweet and personal touch. Congratulations on your wedding.

My first trip to WDW was for our 8th anniversary in 2002. He had always promised me a trip and I was hooked...instantly. Been back every year since. Have fun.

We always get flowers from the WDW Florist.
It was our anniversary one time we went to WDW.
We stayed at the CR - before the DVC was buildt.

The front desk must have found out about our celebration from the florist.
We had a room booked for a Wing room.

When we arrived they gave us anniversary buttons - told us our room was in the main building
with a view of the monorail and MK :wizard:
The flowers my DH ordered for our anniversary were on the table with a card from the CR.

Such a nice surprise - it made our week at the CR magical :earsgirl::earsboy:

I've received multiple arrangements and gifts from Disney's Floral and Gifts.

I have used them twice. Once for our honeymoon in 2007 and again in 2010. Expensive but worth it in my opinion.
In 2007
Three gift baskets were waiting for my bride Kelli in our room.
The first was Mickey and Minnie Bride and groom 'ears' ( a Mickey top hat for me, a sequined Minnie headband with veil for Kelli) from her sister.
I had sent her a “Romance Your Beauty”Florist arrangement of red roses in a Beauty and the Beast vase
The other basket was called Healthy and Happy – a Mickey shaped basket filled with fruit, crackers, cheese, mixed dried fruit box, pretzels, dipping mustard, power bars and water.
All three are pictured here.

In 2010 I sent my wife a gift bag
It was a Disney Family Treats Tote with Kelli’s name on it. It was filled with lots of goodies such as Mickey-shaped rice crispy treats, fresh fruit, bottled water and juice, Chip & Dale salty snacks, and Minnie's Bake Shop cookies

I ordered a gift basket last May for my boyfriend's graduation. I don't have any pictures on this computer of it. Their website was really easy to use, and even though they won't deliver your gift basket before you check into your room, him and I went to DTD for a couple hours and when we came back they had put it on the bed. He was super surprised! The only bad thing that happened is, is that the balloon I order to go with it was supposed to be a big mickey holding a diploma. However, this was not the balloon we got and we got three instead, one that said congratulations and then two just plain colored ones. I wasn't super upset, I checked on the website and the balloons they gave us were the same price as the one I had originally ordered. They were also slightly deflated. Everything else was great though, so maybe just watch out when ordering balloons.

My fiance proposed to me at POR and had arranged to have Disney Floral set up rose petals in a heart on the bed for when we returned from MNSSHP, after he proposed. During his order, he noted that he'd like it set up anytime after 5pm and they said not a problem. We got back from AK around 2pm to get ready for the party and surpringly the rose petals had been set up already. He wasn't expecting it and neither was I. I asked him what that was all about and he had to scramble to grab the ring out of the dresser drawer and propose kind of on the spot. Obviously it all worked out ok, but we certainly wouldn't trust Disney florist with anything time sensitive again.

We received a bowl of fruit from my brother and sister in law over Christmas visit, loved it! Everytime I use the bowl, I thinK of them!

Our last 2 trips I had the family treat totes delivered 1st was mickey and I added a fleece blanket (very handy at mvmcp), 2nd was another family treat tote (minnie) with halloween treats for (mnsshp) doesn't cost a lot and is a fun welcome surprise for the family.I think it will become a little trading for us. Yes we get snack credits etc, but it's still a fun treat and we haven't been disappointed

Love all the candy! Haha ;)

Six years ago I went down for my birthday, one of my sisters came with me. I was surprised at check in with a Tink Birthday Balloon that talked and a beautiful rose sprinkled with pixie dust and wrapped in multiple color ribbon (reminiscent of the three rose wand we had as Maid of Honors in my other sister's wedding.) I was so entranced with the gift that we totally forgot to get our keys to the kingdom after walking halfway to the room :)

Last July I had sent gifts to my parents who were staying one room, and gifts to my sister and her family staying in another room. One of the gifts (a small Donald) was placed in my sister's room, though it was for my dad. Luckily they were able to take it out of their gift in time for one of my nieces to not see it (she loves Donald too). I didn't say anything, since it was easy enough for them to make the trade.

In January I spent a good hour and a half picking and choosing Princess type things for my mom and sister to enjoy on our trip (the only real surprise I was able to pull of for my sister). I placed the order on the website for it to be delivered the next day (1/23). When we got back to the room that night (after IllumiNations) there was nothing in the room. I sent an email to their florist team and tried to play it off that nothing was amiss. I got an email the next day while at MK saying that they didn't have the order number or my name in the system and to call them. So I had the other two go stand elsewhere so I could make the call. I had a less than pleasant CM answer and say they did not have my order and could try to get me an order out before we left to go home. As I started reading off two items from my confirmation email what I had ordered, she said those belonged in a package and she couldn't do it. She said she could refund my purchase, but nothing had charged to my card. She asked if I wanted something else, I told her no, never mind-since I was able to choose those things on the site and the order had said it was confirmed, I was not too happy.

Came home and a week later another CM sent an email and called to say that the order had just gone through. I called and emailed to say what had happened, but that I wasn't charged. She said they wanted to send out a gift for my mom and sister, though I told her that wasn't necessary. She said that they "had" to for what had happened, that they should have given me the items I had ordered since they were available even though they are part of a package. She asked for names and if they were allergic to any food items. Then at the end of the week I checked my checking account to see that the floral charge had come through. I emailed her (who by the way was extremely nice!) and she had me call to get the charge reversed. She also said that they were getting the gifts ready to ship out. I emailed her back when I saw the credit on my account to say thanks. She said at that time they wouldn't be able to send anything until after the Valentine's Day rush. I was so excited last week when I received a large box that said "fragile" on the top and sides. Inside we were given three of the Mickey tote bags. It was very nice to receive them, but I'm still on the fence if I would use them again. Maybe for something small to give them another chance, but not sure if I'd do a "package" or not. I would probably email them the following day to ensure my order was received by them, not stuck somewhere in the system.

Again I'm sure this last time was just a bug in the system/rarely happens--it just stunk for me :( And they did try to make it up to me/us. But going back to my gift for my Birthday was awesome (in fact I had also asked for three of those roses for each of us in my order)! I use the dried rose with the beautiful ribbons to decorate my room and smile every time I see it :)
