Disney Float on Thanksgiving Parade

The Disney float just went by on the Thanksgiving Parade with all the characters on it. My kids, who had been sitting quietly just watching the parade, started going nuts. "LOOK!! It's Donald Duck, Look MOM! It's Mickey!! OH!! The CHIPMUNKS!!! Mom, there's Peter Pan!! . . . . " They were screaming. It was so funny. DH looked at me and said, "Those are definitely your children!"

OMG I CRIED!!! That was so so sweet, with the little mini princesses and princes... OMG. And I just love that song that Lee Ann Rhimes sings... WOW, that made my day. I know, I am a nut!

I missed it. phooey, but I did see Disney land on Regis and Kelly this morning. It showed a little of Disney land. Quite pretty. But sorry folks still prefer Disney World. The people at DL were all bundled up so it can still get pretty chilly. I need/want the heat!!

We loved seeing it. We were at church but taped the parade because a freinds' daughter was in it. Where do you think the characters came from? DL or WDW?

We saw it - it reminded me of the last boat in Fantasmic. Although, I saw Snow White, but no dwarfs!

I'm pretty sure it was the Disney World actresses, as the girl who is Alice was the one I had my picture take with and the Mad Hatter was the one I know. *grin*

I know! We tivo the parade and we are watching it right now! I CRIED TOO! It was beautiful, just like all DISNEY things. The kids watched it earlier and they went nuts too.

Love it. I wish we could go again.

Well now that you mentioned it, I guess I can admit I cried too.....I felt so silly, but me and my DD7 were watching the parade together, and were going to be in Disney on monday, and I don't know it just did something to me.
