My husband LOVES fireworks and has never been to Disney - I have only been 2 times and we only went to one park both times and left. We are going to WDW for 6 nights leaving 9/7/09. I am trying to work our Dinning reservations around fireworks - what are some great locations? Also where without dining reservations. Thanks in advance:-)

I would suggest the Wishes Dessert Buffet if they are still having it while you are there. We did it on 7/17 and it was great. All you can eat desserts and beverages and a great view of the fireworks.

Alot of people talk about seeing Wishes (MK) from the beach at the Poly (I don't think you have to be staying there), or OHana (yummy). We've seen them twice from California Grill (once from the window, once from the back deck). However, my personal preference is seeing Wishes from Main Street USA. It's just a different feeling to me. Illuminations at Epcot, I'm not sure where else you can see it from. We have a secret spot we like to stake out about an hour before it starts! :)

I've seen Wishes from Ca Grill, Narcoosees and a Wishes cruise and none of these compare with seeing it from Main Street.

The only restaurant for Illuminations view is Rose and Crown and there is no guarantee that you will get outside seating there. No other restaurants in Epcot have a full view. The best place to view Illuminations, IMO, is from the boat of one of the Illumination cruises. Other than that, I would suggest finding a spot around the World Showcase that is upwind, pay attention to the direction of the wind, and don't stand with any trees or anything else blocking your view as lot of this show is at water leve.

But if you are there to eat at that time, can you walk out on the patio to see the show? We want to bring my parents there for dinner, and they would like to be able to see the show. My dad can't walk/stand for long periods of time, so we thought this would be a good choice.

TIA!
