Disney Favorites!

List your top ten favorite things about the Disney Parks (Walt Disney World, Disneyland, any of the parks) and explain why each is your favorite! Mine are about Walt Disney World because it's the only one I've been to.

1. My favorite ride is Tower of Terror because not only do I love the thrill of the drops, I'm obsessed with how detailed it is and how you really are part of the show from the moment you see it from down Sunset Boulevard.
2. My favorite restaurant is Tony's Town Square- I'm not a fan of Italian food, actually, but the theme is super cool. My family loves Lady and the Tramp so much that we named our two beagles after them! So I love getting their little autographs, and the bread and oil is AMAZING. I love the steak and potatoes there, too. And the location is fantastic!
3. My favorite park is Magic Kingdom because of the magic. It's the only park at WDW that Walt set foot in, and it just has so many classics and so much nostalgia. It is so magical!!!
4. My favorite resort is Old Key West. I love the bright happy colors and the bright happy music and the tropical ambiance! The rooms are HUGE (when we stayed there last trip we had a two bedroom villa) and the pool is so cute! The Hospitality House is so pretty.
5. My favorite store is Mouse Gear! It's like a scaled down version of World of Disney minus the extreme crowds and high stress levels.
6. My favorite thing about WDW in general is the attention to details and their treatment of guests. Cast Members are so amazing! I Love riding rides and seeing all of the work the Imagineers put into them, too. I love the magic.
7. My favorite characters to meet were Lilo and Stitch, but while reading the Disney Parks Blog I noticed that now they're considered Long Lost Friends. I was wondering why I hadn't seen them in Animal Kingdom or EPCOT!
8. My favorite counter service restaurant is Pizza Planet. I love Toy Story, and it's so cool to be there! And Disney pizza is greater than any other pizza in the world.
9. My favorite pool at WDW is definitely the one at Beach Club, with the water slide that goes across the street off the pirate ship! And it's got the lazy river that I inevitably couldn't control my float and kept bumping into people...
10. My favorite moment in WDW is passing under the gates and screaming "WE'RE IN DISNEY WORLD" at the top of our lungs.

1. My favorite ride is Toy Story Mania. I just love the concept and everything. A close second would be BTMR.
2. My favorite place to eat is the Garden View Tea Room. I almost always go there each vacation. But for the past couple vacations it was super hard to get a reservation, so I am SUPER happy that we were able to get reservations for our upcoming trip. (Which is in 19 days!) I also love the little tea pastry things. I wouldn't know about the tea since I get the Mrs. Potts "tea" every time. (It's chocolate milk. I don't really like tea.) A VERY close second would be 1900 Park Fare for dinner.
3. My favorite character meal is, well, look above (in case you are confused, it's 1900 Park Fare). I just love the characters and the strawberry soup is TO DIE FOR! I'm going there for breakfast on my upcoming trip. (Again, 19 days! SO EXCITED!) Close second is the classic Chef Mickey's.
4. My favorite resort is VWL. I just love it so much. Especially the scenery. I also like going in the train room with my brother when we're waiting for our parents to get stuff ready for a day in the parks. Close second is BWV. (Love the Boardwalk part and the clown slide!)
5. Favorite park is MK. It's just, well, magical. Nuff said. Second one is EPCOT.
6. Favorite park music is EPCOT. I don't know why actually. It just pleases me and puts me in my happy place. Close second is MK.
7. Favorite mountain is BTMR. It's the only one I go on. I went on Splash Mountain when I was really little and my mom scarred me for life. Long story.
8. Favorite character to meet is Ariel. She is just so pretty and nice and I love her. On my upcoming trip, I want to meet Peter Pan SO BADLY! Another long story. (Again, 19 days. HYPER!)
9. Favorite store is the one, the only, WORLD OF DISNEY! It just has so much stuff and it's so huge. I also love the decor. Second one is Curl (it's in DTD and it has cool stuff like Toms, Uggs, and other things that I like. I know it's not really Disney-y, but it is in Disney, right?).
10. Last but not least, my favorite memory is from when my family stayed at the treehouses. Me, my brother, and my dad came back from somewhere (I forget where) and me and my brother climbed the steps to go in. Then a minute later my dad comes in and says, "Did any of you see the snake on the step?" My mom started freaking out. So she called someone to get rid of it. She also said, "I'm not leaving until that thing's removed!" Luckily it was and the snake was harmless. I didn't even notice it and neither did my brother.

Well, that took only 20 minutes out of my life. But it was worth it to remember all the fantastic memories! (Again, 19 DAYS! I CAN'T WAIT THIS LONG!)

1. My favorite ride is.. Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, the loops and rush and awesomeness of Aerosmith combined makes an epic ride!
2. My favorite restaurant is... I don't really have a fave, I love them all!
3. My favorite park is... also MK! I love the rides there and seeing Cinderella's castle is just magical
4. My favorite resort is... All Star Sports, because of the cool rooms and I usually meet people my age there, and they're always really nice!
5. My favorite store is... also Mouse Gears, there's always something I love there
6. My favorite thing about WDW in general is... the feeling you have there, the magical vibe. I don't care about whatever everyone else thinks, and I have plenty of fun!
7. My favorite characters to meet were... Cinderella when we're in line for Cinderella's Royal Table, I like meeting my favorite princess
8. My favorite counter service restaurant is... also Pizza Planet! I love the food and the theme.
9. My favorite pool at WDW is... The one at the Polynesian with the slide and the sand and the sand and sand! I love sand
10. My favorite moment in WDW is... Going by the sign with Mickey and Minnie and it says Disney World and realizing: We're here!!!!!!

I didn't mean to get all braggy in this but Tokyo Disneyland is my favorite Disney right now. I will have been to all the Disney's by the end of this year!!!!

1. My favorite ride is Toy Story Mania. I am probably one of the biggest Toy Story fans you will ever meet so TSM is already high on my list just because it's Toy Story. But I also love getting to play with the ride and my family always gets super competitive which makes it that much more fun.
2. My favorite place to eat is Cosmic Rays (granted I have yet to have a meal at Be Our Guest - I feel like that will be my new favorite). I know it's nothing fancy but I to me Cosmic Rays is associated with exciting days in the Magic Kingdom. I also have a fun memory of my sister and I freaking out how cool it was that we were eating there after midnight during EMH so that makes me love it even more.
3. My favorite character meal is Crystal Palace. I really liked the food and obviously Pooh and friends are adorable but the main reason is the last trip we had an early enough reservation that we got to go into MK before it was open. Some of my favorite pictures are from that day including one of just me and the castle without ANYONE else in the picture.
4. My favorite resort is POFQ. It is the only resort I've stayed at (problems with only going to WDW twice in your life) so it's home to me. It's so pretty and festive but at the same time small and calm - I just love everything about it.
5. Favorite park is MK. It's where it all began, it's where all the classic stuff is, and it's just so darn magical! Second would be HS because of the thrill rides (I'm kind of a thrill junkie)
6. Favorite show in any park is Wishes. I don't know what it is about it but I just get goosebumps every time I watch it. It's just magical - there is no other way to put it.
7. Favorite mountain is Splash Mountain. I just love the story line and getting to see all the bright, fun characters. And I finally was able to see the Hidden Mickey at the drop this summer when watching a Travel Channel Special on WDW so I'm super excited to ride it again and see it in person!
8. Favorite character to meet is...well...I can't choose just one! I loved meeting Tiana and Naveen because they were fun, Aladdin was just cute , Woody is Woody (hello character of my childhood), Belle was my princess so I love meeting her, and of course nothing can top meeting Mickey himself! My next trip (whenever that will be...sigh) I can't wait to meet Merida - I just absolutely adore her and think it will be so great to talk to her.
9. Favorite store is a tie between the Confectionery on Main Street and the World of Disney. Both are so fun to walk through - I could probably spend all my money in either of those if I had the chance to.
10. My favorite Disney memory is the first day of my first trip to WDW. I was fourteen so I had been dreaming of that day for a long time. My family and I went to MK first and right as we crossed under the railroad arches we realized the afternoon parade was starting. We ran up to the train station and got a perfect spot right on the railing. I got to watch the parade and look down Main Street at the castle for the first time - it was so amazing/magical/special that I cried. To this day my family says that the parade was for us, WDW's way of celebrating that after so many years of trying my family finally had made it there.
