Disney Fantasy stateroom 8164

Yes the door was right there at the elevators. Most of the time it was quiet. We did hear noise sometimes but wasn't sure if it was coming from above us or what. Then there were some kids that would sometimes run up and down the halls and we definitely heard them (where were their parents?) but anyone down the hallway would hear that. Overall no problems. We even ended up going to bed fairly early (for a cruise) and it was quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

I'm travelling with a 4 year old and was a little concerned. I imagine she won't go to bed before 9:30 pm and much later on some nights. She still takes naps most days though. Yes, this one likes to sleep. Thanks for all your information. Its much appreciated.

Does anyone have any information on this specific room? I cannot find very much info. We just booked it for a December 2015 Eastern Caribbean. We just stayed in 10662 two weeks ago and NEVER AGAIN will I do Deck 10.....while we loved the location and the deck was huge and I personally used it often, being woken up 7 mornings in a row at 5:30am by tables & deck chairs being dragged upstairs at Cabanas was not for me. THEN you think you can take a nap around 2-3, but nope thats cleanup time. The deck itself for Cabanas was above our bed!!!! Maybe other deck 10 rooms are not as bad. Anyway, there are NO 5E's available for next year so we booked 8164. I have stayed in 7620 on the Magic and LOVED it, but just wondered what this one would be like?

We are looking to book our first cruise EVER, and actually have a hold on a family verandah cabin on Deck 10 right now. Just this morning I was thinking about this -- wouldn't this be noisy with all the activity on 11?! Glad I came across your post!

Has anyone ever stayed on Deck 10 and NOT had a bad noise experience??

If you are below Senses you would be fine but I wouldn't book a room below the pool deck or Cabanas.

Do you have an update on your experience with Disney Fantasy 8164? How was verandah? Was the noise bad by the elevator?

Had a great cruise and the room was wonderful. Now that we have tried a verandah room I don't know that we would do a cruise without one. We used it several times a day every day. Any questions about 8164?

Did the room have a pull down bed so that it can sleep 4? Thank you!

If you try booking it with 4 people, and it doesn't sleep 4, it won't let you.
