**Disney Fantasy May 19th, 2012- EASTERN** (INDEX/ROLE CALL, PAGE 1--ENTRY 2)

Hi, everyone!

We just sent an email tonight to our TA for this cruise! We've known since our drive home from to 11-day trip to Disney over the holidays that we'd be on this cruise, but I didn't want to chime in until it was official. I was saving that pleasure for when we actually got to say, "Book it!" We'll be a part of the All Ears events, so that's exciting for us.

I read some of the posts here, but I'll have to get caught up. I know from Donald Applecore/Bryan's post (are we using first names or Dis names on the thread?) about the roll call, so here is our info:

Me - Jenny. I'll be 32 when we sail. Here I am (with my niece, who you'll learn more about in a second) at Old Key West at Disney in 2009:

Melissa - my sister, 38 when we sail
Hannah - my niece, 6 when we sail on her first cruise!!!

Dining (Main or Late):
Again, we'll know more later, but we requested main dining for my niece's sake.

Show Time:
We're assuming late, but I don't know enough about how the new ships are operating to know if we'll be able to do the first show.

Partipate in FE:
Not sure! We didn't do this on our previous cruises. This is my sister's and my second DCL cruise, but our first trip to the eastern Caribbean. We tried to get there in 2005, but Hurricane Rita sent us on the Western. Next year it will have been 7 years since that last cruise, so it's high time we go back, right?

Everyone----seems there is a limit to how many pictures you can have (25) in a thread entry! Do they not know that we have a great thread group and cannot be tamed???? I removed the smiley face icons from the ROLE CALL because they count as pictures---that allowed me to successfully add 'donaldsgal's pics.

So here is my idea....if 'ksucats' will let us hijack thread entries # 1 and 3, and if 'husurdady' lets me consolidate the original text from entries 1-3 into entry 4, then we will have entries 1-3 to be committed to ROLE/ROOM CALL. Seventy-five pics....it's better than being limited to 25, right?

Sooooo...'ksucats'...please let me know if this would be ok.

Thanks, Tony! I made a math error - my sister Melissa will be 39 when we sail. (ACTUAL 39, not "39" i.e. 40 like some women like to say. ).

Also, we should know about dinner and show tonight - our TA didn't book the trip for us last Friday when I emailed her confused3), and I think our stateroom number will change because of her not booking it the other day. I'll update that info when we get it - hopefully tonight!

Sooooo....

We have a family of five joining us----a niece, her husband and three kids.
I'll supply more info on them when I have their info and pics.

Plus, our son, Kevin, and his girlfriend Heather have decided they want to go. Kevin was on our last cruise with us.

Here is a picture of the two....

We are now up to 31 people in 11 staterooms. Too bad we can't rebook @ group rates----won't take the risk because we would have to release the rooms we have----on the risk of being able to rebook them at the current rates (which would be huge increases in price).

I haven't posted bc we've been on Enchantment of the Seas for the past 9 days Wonderful trip despite a rough start with delayed boarding due to Norovirus on the cruise before us, delayed departure due to 50 knot winds and the cancellation of Key West... But the crew was amazing and we still got lots of sun Sitting in the theatre waiting to disembark What's getting us through? Starting the 15 month countdown to the Fantasy

Welcome back! Glad you enjoyed your cruise despite the hurdles. Did your kids go on the cruise with you? Any pics of the family you can share for the role call?

Still working on getting pics up here! God knows I have plenty! The boys did go with us... In fact, it was the "surprise" cruise We ended up pulling it off and they didn't find out until we were standing in front of the boat! We told them we were spending the morning at the Harbor looking at boats. The first one we saw was our ship, so we pulled into the parking lot to look at it and take a picture... We told them it was to make people think we went on it... With video rolling, we gave them each a hat that said "My Mom and Dad surprised me with a cruise!" to wear for the picture. The oldest figured it out and it took a little bit for it to sink into the youngest... When we hopped back in the car, I figured out that the reason he didn't quite react was because he didn't believe it, so I turned the camera back on and caught the "realization" moment It was great! An absolutely wonderful week away!

I'll get those pics up as soon as I set up a photobucket account...

Ohhh yay!! How fun. Congrats on keeping it a secret!! I could never do that. Can't wait to see pictures.

Sorry I've been quiet....busy planning Disneyland trips and making FEs for my friends going on the Dream this year.
