I'm wondering if anyone has received cancellation notices for any excursions booked for their Eastern Caribbean cruise.

I'm on a cruise in January and am afraid (my luck) one or more of the excursions I chose could be cancelled last minute because the vendor isn't back up and running yet. I hate the idea of having to scramble, last minute, to find something else to do at Tortola or St Thomas (actually find something with availability!)

I intentionally did not book excursions for our Dec 30 Eastern for two reasons - yours stated above about the listed excursions actually happening, and the fact that I won't feel right driving through destruction in an air conditioned coach bus.

IF the islands are up and running, we'll do our own thing.

A decent amount of Tortola is up and running at this point. You may travel through some areas still being worked on, but Foxy's and the Soggy Dollar are open, the Baths are open, all the usual snorkel spots are fine. (See https://www.facebook.com/Aristocatcharters/posts/1975181716030184)

One of the local organizations posted a video of many of these sites the other day, with strong encouragement to come and partake. Avoiding these places hurts their recovery. You = money.

My understanding is also that some of St. Thomas is already good to go and waiting for your money, including Magen's Bay.

Yay for them!!! Boo for me. My cruise is one of the unlucky ones that was altered to the Western Caribbean.
