This is our 5th cruise but still feel like newbies. Never did a meet before or FE but would like to for this trip.

For those that aren't on the FB page yet... it looks like there will be a bit of a pre-cruise gathering at the Top of the World at Bay Lake Tower on Friday for the fireworks (meeting 1 hour prior to fireworks).

We will be meeting on board but are going to Mickie's Not So Scary Halloween Party Friday night to maximize our Disney time.

This is so funny. We booked the Oct 11th, 2014 Southern Caribbean Cruise and joined the meet thread. In one week, they are already on page 22. We're only on page 19!

I've got 5 people requesting access to the FB page that I haven't gotten PMs from on here. Anyone want to claim to be one of them? If so, let me know so I know who to approve. We don't want just anyone in there with all our family info!

PMs on FB tend to disappear if you aren't one of my "friends" - not sure why since I have it set where anyone can message me. Just one of the FB quirks, I guess.

Hi! We will be joining you on the Fantasy in September. My mom has generously invited me and my daughter to join her on this cruise. This will be our second with DCL and I believe it will be her fourth. She is also bringing my SIL and her daughter. We will be joined by one of my aunts who will be travelling with her granddaughter and possibly her daughter if she can arrange for time off of work. My name is Christy and my daughter, Lorelei, will be 5 when we cruise. My niece and my cousin's daughter will be almost 3 at the time of the cruise. I am looking forward to our "girls only family cruise" but I am trying to convince my husband to join us for a few days at Disney before or after the cruise.

I forgot to mention that my DD and I are coming in from Denver for the cruise. We recently moved here (Castle Pines to be exact) from Las Vegas and have enjoyed watching our first blizzard today from inside our cozy house. We lived in Las Vegas for 5 years and moved there from Georgia which is where the rest of our family is coming from for the cruise. They live in various parts of metro Atlanta (Marietta, Lawrenceville, & Jefferson).

just booked this cruise and cannot wait! cruising will be myself my mother and my 18 month old son. I'm 32 and my husband will be working also my mom volunteered to go. Lol. We are on deck 9 in a family room with verandah. This is my eighth cruise but first with Disney. This is my mom's fourth cruise but second Disney.

Since this is my first disney cruise. ..can someone explain the fe thing? I get the idea of it. .. but with the search not working on this site, I can't research it. Is it one gift per stateroom plus one gift from each person in my stateroom for each individual in the participating staterooms? Will it be divided up into smaller groups or just keep growing? It's up to you, honestly. It can be one gift per stateroom, or you can do one gift for each individual in the stateroom. It often depends on the type/size/cost of the gift as to how someone decides to do it. For our first cruise, we did photo albums and did 1 or 2 per stateroom depending on how many people were in it, and we left stickers for the kids.

Hi Gang!
We just changed our dummy cruise to this one yesterday. This will be our 4th DCL cruise. I guess you could say we are hooked! We will be flying in from the west coast. Anyone else flying in from the "left" coast? We haven't booked airfare yet. I am keeping an eye on fares to see if they come down in price any. We participated in the FE's the first 3 cruises. My Mom made us a really cute FE and our 5 year old son would get so excited checking out the goodies left for us. Even hubby thought it was kind of cool too. Looking forward to chatting with everyone. Our son turns 6 the week before the cruise leaves so he is already expecting a "Mickey boat" cake on board. LOL!
