There is no appropriate forum for this thread, so I put it out there for all you Disney parents . . .

Will someone please smack me out of my Disney daze? I still have 6+ weeks to go until our WDW trip, and I can't stop dreaming, fantasizing, and obsessing over it! I'm driving myself insane! I mean, come on, Christmas is around the corner - if I should be focused on anything it should be that! But noooooo - my family room floor is littered with Little People, laundry awaits, and I can't pry myself away from The DIS!!! HELP!! SOS!!!

Please tell me you can relate!!! Tell me I'm not alone! Tell me I'm not the worst mom in the world for not playing with my DD3 at this very minute!!!

you'll be fine.....My trip is not until august/september....and Im dazed. I found the DIS boards back a while ago and I have been on it just about every day. YOu always find really good advise and these guys will be honest with you and help you when you need it. Its good support....just think of it that way!!!!

Looks like we will be there around the same time, and xmas is the furthest thing from my mind. I have a countdown on the fridge for the ....kids. And I cant wait to get up in the morning just to take off another day. Driving my DH nuts talkign about it non stop. And I cant wait for those documents. Everytime someone says a date, I think how many more days from that date we have to go. I too sit on this board cause I cant stop obsessing... you are not alone!

At least you can "share" your eagerness with your kids. We're surprising our kids (DS5 and DD3) and it's killing me!!!!! I should make my own countdown and keep it somewhere secret . . . But then that might make the torture even worse.

It's nice to know I'm not alone!

I get on the boards everyday and I'm not going back for another 6 months!!! At least I can make ADR's next Monday, so I guess I have a good reason be browsing the boards.

All you have to do is look at my join date and how many posts I have already. Then, shake your head!

I found the DIS after I got laid off and it can be just so much fun to meet the folks on here and help them plan. It really helped me feel not quite so alone while looking for a new job (which I start in January). Then, my post count will slow up considerably!!!!

PS - Try being on the Wednesday podcast chat while watching 2 toddlers. I win the "bad mom" prize for that!
