Ive been going to Disney world for a long time and no it never looses its magic. However, this trip I want to do a few different things. Maybe see disney in a different way. If anyone has things they love to do at disney thats just fun or special to them please share. I would love to hear of other things to do that I probably just walk right Past. Thanks !!

- The Hidden Mickey's book is fun to find/look for the hidden Mickey's.
- Maybe take a tour or 2 in one of the parks. That is always fun.
- Try to watch the shows or things that you may not always catch. DeVine in AK, the people at DHS or the marching band in MK.
- Just last August, while walking around the Tree of Life in AK, I discovered a SHARK! I had no idea that was there!
- Get the passports in Epcot and have them stamped in the countries.
- Do the pennie press machines, they are a cheap souvenir.

Also - do you have any younger ones in your party (ages?)? That may help w/ ideas too!

I have actually never been to WDW, so perhaps funny to think I could add something here...

I did think that this was a cute idea that I saw suggested somewhere, I just don't know if I will have time to do it:
--a scavenger hunt with the Tree of Life. So if you did some research to find some of the animals represented and then broke up in teams and timed yourselves. I think it was suggested that the losing team was the ones that had to go wait in line for snacks or something like that.

Just a thought.

I like to find a bench and people watch seeing the faces and things kids do and say the first time the see something will make you laugh and cry and watch the different animals interact with the guest the birds trying to get the food from kids is the funniest thing

At MK...
I like to get a Dole Whip Pineapple Float or 3 and just sit in the shade and watch the people.

Try to remember where those Hidden Mickey's are and look for them...but I don't make it a mission to find them all.

Try to pull the Sword from the Stone.

Watch the Flag Ceremony on Main Street...They pick a Veteran to help participate...I think they get to keep the flag.

I actually like to watch the wildlife...though those birds in Frontierland are a little creepy if your eating a turkeyleg...they want to be your new best friend. :scared1:

Epcot...
The Water Fountain show can be entertaining while the wife is shopping in Mouse Gears.

But Really aside from Test Track, Soarin' , and the Living Sea this place just offers me a slow day to eat my way around the world, and take in the scenery.

Animal Kingdom...
I really liked the African Acrobats that perform throughout the day... the trails in Africa, Asia, and around the Tree a nice.

Rafiki's Planet watch is interesting...especially if the are actually working with an animal.

DHS...
I've got nothing...just not my cup of tea.

Other...
Blizzard Beach was a blast...Probably # 2 (or at least a 2b) on my Favorite Park list.
Downtown Disney...
We like the Rain Forest Cafe.
Cirque du Soleou was cool...though pricey.
Rent a boat and take a trip around the lagoon.

mini golf (behind the swan/dolphin)
check out other resorts (have lunch, stroll around, get a pressed penny)
ride (rent?) a swan boat at the swan/dolphin (haven't done it, just saw it)
catch a movie at DTD
rent a bike to ride around the boardwalk
visit ft. wilderness - horseback riding, petting zoo, outdoor movie at night
segway tour
any tour
bass fishing
visit the Richard Petty raceway (and do an experience, or just watch)
pin trading/coin pressing
go to a park just to window shop and eat (no rides, no lines, no stress or pressure to get anything done)

we have 2 adults a 17 year old and an 11 year old.

Last year when we were there we got to watch Illuminations from the boat dock at Morrocco. The view was great !!

We love to take the monorail around and do a "tour" of the monorail resorts...Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary. Now you can even see Bay Lake Tower, the new DVC resort at the Contemporary! We walk around the lobby, go to the shops, and try to do a meal at one of them. We also usually go out and get a drink at each pool-bar! ;) Once we rented the little boats from the Poly during our "tour". We do it a leisurely pace, and try to time it so we can end the night in MK seeing the fireworks!! :thumbsup2

Everytime we have a trip, we always go on the first day at Chef Mickeys for our breakfast, kids really loved it, it's on our top list always. :thumbsup2

Have a nice day. :)

Have you ever visited Celebration? It's neat if you're into the story of how Disney World came to be. It's a "planned community" - kind of an offshoot of the original idea that later turned into Epcot (which used to stand for "Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow".)

We've enjoyed renting a surry bike around Port Orleans, and the boat to Downtown Disney.

Someday I'd like to tour some of the resorts I haven't been to, and go to Chip 'n Dale's campfire.

Also, there was a thread once about little extra magic touchs - the talking trash cans, jumping fountains, etc. - and where to find those. (Does anyone remember where?)

Hope this gives you some ideas. Have a great time!
