Disney Family Magic Tour

Who has gone in the past and what did you think? Have this planned with my mom & 7yr old niece. Would love input. Thanks!

We did it a couple of years ago when DD was 6. I think 5-7 year olds will probably get the most out of it. DD liked being able to help read the clues and figuring out where to go. Be prepared for lots of walking from place to place, and sometimes looking pretty silly following the directions (sneaking around, hopping, etc.) I kind of had the impression we'd learn facts and trivia about MK by doing this, and we didn't, but it was a lot of fun and meeting the characters at the end was great.

We did this back in 2005, when my kids were 6 & 4. We really enjoyed it and we have some wonderful pictures of all of us being very silly. The kids still talk about it. At the end there was a meet & greet and then the character(s) went on a ride with the tour group. I think I've read that they stopped doing the ride part recently.

Our youngest is now 3 and the older two kids (now 10 & 8) are begging us to do the tour again when the little guy is a bit older, so we'll probably do it again when he's 4 or 5.

I am going in Dec and cant wait.... everyone says such wonderful things about it! My DD is 3, I hope she is not too young!

Great for the younger kids--they get the most out of it. That being said, every person in our tour group had a great time, including every adult. I don't know what they pay the CM's who conduct the tour, but for our tour guide, Dave from Chicago, it's not enough. He was fabulous, and made it well worth the time and money. Enjoy!!!
