One question, if you have the "white" background, and you use transfer paper for "dark" shirts, does the background stay white?

Yes. The transfer paper for dark you print right onto the transfer-its a bit like a piece of plastic. You peal off the paper back and put the transfer on the shirt, put a sheet of like parchment paper (that comes in the package) over the image when you iron it so it doesn't stick to your iron. SO...any area that you don't cut off will be white. The colors seem to be more vibrant with the dark transfers.

The transfer paper for light is different. You have to print mirror image. You put the "paper" down on the T and when you iron the ink gets transfered from the paper to your T. You let it cool a bit and peal the paper off-leaving the ink on the T. The area that you don't trim leaves a bit of residue on the T but not stark white.

Thanks for the quick reply! That's what I thought would happen. I have never used the "dark" transfer paper, only the "light" paper. Just needed to know before i did my project! Thanks!

I have a concern about the Lion King design. The design I did has words on two levels to capture the whole picture. I cannot capture the whole picture with a one-word design (without it looking funny).

You have two choices:

1) I can use a different Lion King background better suited for only one word. If you have a character preference, let me know.

2) I can add other words to your names, eg. WDW, Disney, 2006, or any other word(s) you'd like.

Let me know what you'd like me to do.

Hi Maria! I have been "lurking" for the past week or so...just admiring your fun, cool designs. I would love to make shirts w/ these for my kids "surprise" trip in December. My daughter's choice is easy, my son is not!
