Disney express - security/laptop

We've booked Disney express, and I was wondering if there was a secure way of ensuring our laptop was transferred to our hotel?

Alternatively, would anyone suggest using the security lockers at the entrance? How much are these?

The kids really want to take the laptop with us for watching dvds and stuff - they can't imagine life without one, even if it is only for 4 days

Obviously I don't want to be carrying it about in the park, but i'm a bit worried about packing it within our luggage incase of damage.

Any ideas?

I'm taking my netbook with me in Sept & Nov so i can free up my camera memory each night and im using DE aswell, i think im going to just pack it in between layers in my suitcase and just hope for the best

Personally I don't trust anybody with my laptop but myself or family. Laptop's aren't very heavy (especially the new netbook style laptops) so I would be inclined to take it with me to the parks on the first and last days - hiding it somewhere suitable for the other days I'm there.

You could go to your hotel and ask concierge to store it for you. You get a receipt from concierge and when you're done in the park the lap top is waiting for you in the hotel.

I wanted to avoid going to the hotel, to get the benefit of Disney Express.

Although we do have a couple of netbooks, we want the laptop for dvds - too much Zac and Cody may just melt my brain

Does anyone know if the lockers at the entrance are still there and how much they cost? This might be our best option.

Disney Parks
Luggage storage is available at the Disney Parks for a small charge, or free for up to three bags for Annual Passport Dream holders.

Disneyland Park - on the far right of the main entrance, under the bridge to the East wing of Disneyland Hotel, next to the Guest Relations Window.
Walt Disney Studios Park - at the far end of the ticket windows, on the right side of the main entrance.
You will need to pass through the Disney Parks security to use these facilities. This may require you opening your case quickly for the security staff, but don't worry - many people pass through the checks with suitcases each day - particularly those staying at Disneyland Hotel.
Important: The rows of lockers under Main Street Station have not been used for many years, due to obvious security reasons. You should drop your bags off before you enter the parks at the locations above.

Oh well, might try that then, guest relations - I often wondered why no-one ever seemed to be at these lockers - now it's a bit obvious.

There arent lockers at the entrance but there is a guest storage place just before you enter the park.

It would cost you 3 euros to leave your laptop at Luggage Services at the entrance to the park . This luggage store is open from 8am (when there is EMH) right through until 45 minutes after the official park closing time, every day.
