We would love a trip this March but our 4th child turns 3 in February. We have stayed at POLY before as well as POR. Once our baby is 3, our choices basically become a value suite or staying offsite :(
I hate the idea of not being able to stay at the nicer resorts anymore :(
We don't mind being cramped....we just love the Disney resort atmosphere. I so wish you could squeeze 4 kids in your room!
What would you do in our situation? Thanks for any advice/recommendations!

You could rent DVC points for a 2BR unit somewhere. It would be more than a value suite, though.

Have you looked at some of the Deluxe Room options a various resorts that have them? Eg, a Deluxe Room at WL sleeps 6 people. So do the ones at BWI. Obviously they cost more but they're not as outrageously priced as suites or other larger room type options.

I have rented DVC points many, many times! I would highly recommend it! :D Go for the 2 bedroom at Kidani! It's so nice, and has 3 bathrooms!

Another vote for renting DVC points. With 4 kids I would think having the kitchen for breakfast alone would be worth it.

I have never seen a deluxe room that sleeps six. Which resorts have this option.

OP- I think that you can sleep six in a cabin in Fort Wilderness. If so this may be a nice option.

Just going by Disney's website. For clarity, I am not talking about all Deluxe Resort rooms, I am talking about the "Deluxe Room" booking category IN some resorts. For example, WL is below. BWI has them as well. I am not sure about others. Not many resorts have them.

In addition to the deluxe rooms that sleep 6 at BWI and WL, the Jr. Suites at Coronado sleep 6 as well.

BTW, you don't have to rent DVC points to stay in a villa. You can also book directly through WDW.
