Here is our plans for our 1st WDW trip. Can you all help with the planning!
Day 1: late arrival so just getting to POFQ.
Day 2: moring: Breakfast at chef mickey's at 9:30.
How do you get there from POFQ? How long does it take to get there?
Night: Wishes at 9:00 pm
If we are back at the hotel for dinner and such what is a good time to get back to see it?
Day 3: Spectomagic at 9:00
I saw from another post where to sit for Wishes (bridge) but what about SpectroMagic? Will a 4 yr old like it or skip it?
Day 4: Dinner at Crystal Palace with Pooh. We at have it 5:10... closing at 6:00 that night. Enough time to meet pooh and others
We would like to do the boat to DD? Can we fit it in? Thanks for reading an EARfull!

Take a bus from POFQ to MK and then take the monorail. Leave up to 1/2 to get there although it shouldn't

Leave atleast 2 hours before the show. It is tough to get good seats after that. If it is busy go to Frontier Land to watch. There are some great places to watch from there and not so busy.

It is great. Again try Frontier Land, not so busy because it is in the back of the park. Take your time leaving.

Yep. PLenty, they won't kick you out and you'll have lots of time with the chararcters and no one else for them to go to.

Go after your dinner. Take a bus back to PO and then grab the boat to DTD or take the monorail to TTC and then get a bus to DTD and take a boat back to PO.

This might sound silly, but are you planning 4 days at the MK?
As far as getting to Chef Mickey's, I would take the bus to the MK, and then walk. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk, and there is a path to the CR from the bus loading area.

Thank you for all your help! We were thinking MK only? But do we need to go one of the other ones? Our plan was to take our 4yr ds this time around. He has some special needs (stroke at birth) so we thought just a trip to MK take naps in the afternoon if needed, if he wanted to ride one thing over and over that is okay. We do have a 1 1/2 yr. old that is staying home with grandmom. We thought that when he is 4 1/2 we will go back and do more with him and older ds. Okay more than you wanted to know huh :teeth: Do think there is a place he might like too? And not do MK all the time or wait for both go other places Thank you! :confused3

If you guys want to take him to the MK, it's o.k. with me, lol! ;) I just wasn't sure if you were hopping to different parks or not, I was just going to say that if you were, that would be a lot of time on the bus! When are you going? I'm assuming that the park is closing at 6pm due to MNSSHP or MVMCP? Hope you guys have a wonderful trip, and happy planning!

We are going the last week in April. I just read that it is Grad night? Maybe that is why? We might get out of there at 6:00 to miss those Seniors. :scratchin
I have been hearing alot of people say that if we are there to go to at least one other park. I thought Epoct could be for later and or course MGM. The only one I can think of is Animal Kingdom? Do we just do MK or hit AK too? Thank You again! I know I have some time to figure all this out but I need a little cheering section along the way. :cheer2:

Is there any particular reason why they both can't be seen on the same night? One late night instead of 2. Although a 10:00 pm start for Wishes might be late for a 4 1/2 year old.

I don't know what days you are going or if there is an early entry for Resort guests on those days but a good idea would be to get to the Magic Kingdom about 15 minutes before opening so you can see the good morning show in front of the train station and then go straight to Fantasyland. You little one can ride a lot that way with very little wait, but just an hour or two later and the wait times get really long. When they do your family can go and grab a bite to eat or check out the shops :flower: .

Have fun!! :goodvibes

We thought about the 2 late nights too. Wasn't sure if both needed to be seen. We might do Wishes at the 9:00 and then go to DD early the next night on the boat? I love the idea for the early entry so the lines are not as long :) Thanks for all the suggestions keep in comin'!
