Disney Experience not working?

Hi all,

I booked our WDW stay about 4 weeks ago now at Saratoga for Sept/Oct 2014. I also signed up for my Disney Experience but it keeps telling me my reservation number is not valid or accepted?

Do I have to call them to sort this or has anybody faced this before?

Are you using the reservation number from your booking/email confirmation? If so that one won't work you need one that is three letters and five numbers.

I found when I signed into MDE via my laptop the correct number was automatically there, the alternative is to phone Disney UK and get the correct reservation number from them.

I was just coming on here to ask the same thing. I've emailed disney uk to ask for my 12 digit US reservation number, but all they came back with was that I would get my 8 digit number nine months before travel... Which is disappointing because I'm excited to get things added on there already!!

We are travelling to SSR in August 2014, and when I spoke to WDTC on the phone on Friday, was told the 12 digit number I needed for MDE wasn't available yet. She didn't know when it would be, just told me to try back in 2-3 weeks!

I know its frustrating however there isn't much to see on MDE even once its linked and in all honesty it is causing so many problems that if you don't need to link it yet I wouldn't.

As long as you have it done in time for making ADRs you will be fine.

We have booked a UK package for July which I am not going to even try and link until Xmas. I am having issues with a room only booking for December that was booked through Disney US and should have been straight forward...
