Disney Erased All my FP+ and Won't Reinstate Them

Hey everyone....just got home from the trip which was FANTASTIC. However, we just rebooked all of our own Fastpasses after getting nowhere with Disney. I was able to score one trip on the 7 Dwarves so I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and quality time to go to guest services and complain about it. So simply pit, everything worked out but with zero help from Disney. Haha.

So glad you had a great time. When you have a moment though, I'd send a note to Disney letting them know what happened. Once they ask for your time and effort to prebook, this sort of thing should not happen.

I'm so glad your trip went well, had been thinking about you. Very happy you got to ride the mine train

Thanks for the update. I was so hoping you would let us know how it went. I'm sorry for the problems you had but am happy you had a great trip!!

Good point - I definitely will! Just happy it all worked out!

And thanks everyone else! It was an annoyance and stress but it all worked out so that's all that matters! :)

So glad you had an amazing trip.

Really sucks that Disney, a company that has built a reputation on guest recovery and guest satisfaction - could do so painfully little to resolve a major mistake on their end. Like OP said, she might have been able to get some type of compensation or FP or something, but to get that would have meant waiting in endless lines and wasting valuable vacation time.

I'm very disappointed that Disney can't do better than this.

So glad you had a great trip. Sorry about the headache and wasted time that this mistake caused you. Seems to be happening more and more. Glad you made the most of it and made great memories with your family.

I wouldn't feel bad about that. My #1 piece of advice to anyone dealing with Disney phone CMs is that the moment you realize one is being unhelpful, claiming you can't do something you know you can, or providing you with information you know is bad, tell them "sorry, I gotta go see a guy about a thing," hang up, call back and try another one. Life is too short and vacation planning is too hectic already (especially for WDW these days) to waste your time in all the trite ceremonious stuff they want to talk about once the call is off course and they aren't going to help you with the thing you called them about.

I agree with this statement. I can get all sorts of info from this website or allears.net but get the phone equivalent of blank stares from a CM. I just say, maybe I got it wrong, let me check and hang up. Then I will keep calling till I get a CM that knows what I'm talking about.

A current for-instance, was that the first CM I spoke to regarding our upcoming trip was telling me that no Fantasmic! concerts were planned for Nov 19 or 20th. I kept saying "how can that be, that's US Thanksgiving". All she kept saying was I couldn't make a dinner and show rezzie if there was no show. So I hung up called again, got another CM who said they may schedule additional shows those nights but she didn't have the times as of yet. Now, that makes sense to me. I made reservations for another day after that since we leave on the 21st.
Thank goodness that long calls to the US cost next to nothing these days or I'd have no money left for my vacation.

I am glad I heard about this glitch re changing your plans before I can do my FP's. I have already changed the dates and the rooms twice!;)
