Disney engagement shoot ideas?!

Were doing one in two weeks at the beach. Any one have any ideas where we could incorporate Disney into our shoot?

Are you trying to be very Disney or just a touch of Disney? You could bring Disney in with props, like Mickey ears hats? Could you get some mickey-shaped balloons off ebay and use them? We used balloons in ours and they were super fun (though not Mickey shaped). You could take pictures drawing a mickey head in the sand maybe?

I always love engagement shoots with Up-inspired handfuls of colorful balloons.

Mouse ears are always cute, especially if they're personalized. Also, any souvenirs from past trips that are meaningful to you are nice.

This last one's a stretch, but if you could find some mickey bars, that would be super fun! No idea if you can get them anywhere else, but you could try to create something similar with ice cream sandwiches cut into mickey shapes? I think that could be fun for the beach.

Congratulations on your engagement!

As PP's mentioned, Mickey ears are a good staple. You could also use giant lollipops, like the ones Disney sells in the candy shops.

If you're a princessy kinda gal, you could bring a silver shoe as a glass slipper and have it in the foreground of the photos, or use apples as props ala Snow White.

I think there are really so many things you could do, it just depends what aspect of Disney you want to incorporate.

What is your favorite Disney or pixar movie? I would set up a picnic on the beach and have little trinkets that represent the movie... Not like stuffed animals of the characters, but something more like an ode to the film.. Something classy.

For example, if you love beauty and the beast maybe you can find a china teapot and a teacup (maybe make a chip in it if you don't care about it too much) and a gold candlestick that looks like Lumiere, etc.

You could find little details like this for any film really.. If you put some creative thoughts to it and some time to look for them.. I'd recommend searching local thrift shops if you decide to do this... Either way, congrats on the engagement and good luck with the pictures!!
