Disney Ends Evening EMH Monorail Service

so what about the guests staying at , say, the contemporary , not going to the MVMCP, but going to epcot that evening. wouldn't the resort monorail stay openfor them (since they would take the monorail to the ttc. how would they get from the ttc to the contemporary, or GF (I know you can walk to the poly from there)

The resort monorail will run until 10:30pm. Once that closes, there will be busses if Epcot has EMH.

If the monorail is closed, bus service will replace it wherever you need to go. So if Epcot has evening EMH, the Epcot monorail closes at 10:00pm, after that there are 2 bus routes:

Epcot-TTC-Contemporary
Epcot-Poly-GF

Just got home from trip to BLT- one night on the way back from EPCOT we had to take the monorail to TTC and then a boat to the MK and then they said we had a choice of bus or walk to BLT- this occurred on an evening that the resort monorail was struck by lightening and only the EPCOT rail was running.

So, to be clear:

If you're going to MNSSHP, and you're a local or staying off site (or if you choose to drive from your resort), you're going to have to take the ferry back to the TTC if you stay til the party ends at midnight.

Right?

IMHO, that's going to be quite messy.
