Disney Elopements

Has anyone done an Elopement at Disney? I live near by. I have someone who could marry me. I would like a quiet ceremony somewhere on Disney property. The one thing I would love is most likely a NO. That is on the steps of the castle off to the side so that we do not bother the other guests.

Does anyone know anything about this sort of thing?

<b>More</b> See I do not mind paying them for the Elopement location. It is not like I want to do this on the sly. I just do not need a fancy full blown wedding. I want a reasonably priced Elopement without all the bells and whistles of a normal wedding. Like if they offered a package for use of a certain location, hair appt at the salon, honeymoon stuff, and other minor amenities in a package that would be perfect. Something tailored to my needs.

it is SUPER expensive to have a wedding at the magic kingdom, and they can only be done after the park is closed and even then it becomes very very difficult as there are only a few dates that they may allow you to have your wedding there...

how about sunset pointe at the poly?

it also says on mouseweddings that if you book and are flexible on dates you might get a discount, but i haven't actually heard of this happening, you might try though...

unfortunately you cant just bring a minister and get married on Disney property. if you get caught you'll get kicked out

That really sucks. I guess on to other ideas of how to do a romantic quickie wedding. Perhaps a beach somewhere.

Why dont you do a quickie wedding near your house and then go somewhere in Disney for your reception? There's some great restaurants (as im sure you know) and maybe you could follow it up with illuminations or fantasmic.

If you aren't able to do an escape wedding at Disney and if you want a nice beach, I would try Cocoa Beach. We actually thought about getting married there before the whole Disney thing. It's a really nice place and they have great packages reasonable priced. Perfect for "quickie weddings".
