I know there's a "big" push for Disney fans/shareholders to vote Chapek out but hard to ignore the numbers. While I'm not so keen on the changes being made, as a shareholder I wouldn't complain if it got close to $200/share again -and I think Disney has the tools do so. People keep going and people keep paying....

I saw this and thought, "Well of COURSE they turned a profit, everything is sky high in cost, additional fees all over the place, with a drastic cut in quality and service. How could they NOT make money?"

Same thought........

Disney encompasses more than just the Parks -the Parks represent less than 50% of revenue. The other point is that many shareholders(people who benefit from the financial success) have been complaining not only about Chapek but the share price. The share price went up yesterday and took off over night.... showing there is a lot of confidence in the direction of the Company. So, as a shareholder, do you support changing Chapek's policies(and removing him) at the risk of your investment or do you accept Chapek and watch your investment grow. "Making" money and turning profit are not mutually exclusive -especially with "drastic cuts in quality and service." So the question. is where is this going...
