I am interested in any comments or opinions from anyone who has participated in the Early Morning Magic at the MK. Im trying to decide if it is worth the price($69 per adult, $59 per child). It does include what sounds like a descent breakfast buffet. Thats probably a $20 per person value. Also you get to knockout 3 attractions that you would normally use FP's for. And just being in the park before everyone else is cool too. I appreciate your thoughts. Thank you!

I just did this event last week. Given the fact that 2 of 3 rides were down for the morning I did it, I'd be hesitant to do it again. BUT... it has gotten almost universal positive reviews and if all three rides were running I'm sure mine would have been positive too. The breakfast was decent. There is practically no one there. And, you can indeed knock out three very popular rides early. Take it for what it's worth to you as my experience is mostly an anomaly. If it goes well, it's great. Value is really an evaluative statement and differs for each individual.

Just curious...which ride was running when you were there? Did they try to make it up to you in anyway for the inconvenience?

We did it in 2016, it's amazing. Got to ride Pooh about 4-5 times, Pan 4-5, and Dwarves 5 times, wife and daughter got on carousel by themselves, got pictures with empty castle, and positioned overselves first in line on Haunted Mansion as park opened. Then went and had a wonderful breakfast. Worth every stinkin penny.

We've done it twice. The first time was AMAZING - rode 7DMT 6 times in a row with literally no line at all. Seriously. We we get off the ride, walked right back around and got on it again. There was always a train waiting so we walked right on each and every time. The second time was the infamous day last week when 2 of the 3 rides were down. It was okay. We did get to do 7DMT once before it went down. We did PP and the Carousel a few times each and were able to do Winnie the Pooh once when it came back up right before EMH ended. The breakfast is actually really good - I'm not a breakfast eater but I really enjoyed it.

I will say that we will probably not do this event again because of our recent experience with rides being down. But that hasn't been a common occurrence, we just didn't have the best luck with it that day. If everything is up and running it's an awesome way to start the day.

So excited! We just signed up for June 10th!!! My kids are going to love this! Thanks to all for the information :)

Peter Pan was the only ride that was running for the whole morning. 7DMT was running initially but went down by 8:15am and Pooh with it. I don't want to rehash the whole thing that's been drawn out over two other threads; suffice it to say that I was not happy initially but Disney made it right.

I have done this event the past two summers, and intend to do it again this coming summer. We didn't have the ride closures that some have experienced, everything was up and running. This past summer, we were able to ride 7D about 7 or 8 times, plus a go or two on PP, and Pooh before having our breakfast. We took our time with breakfast, and enjoyed it, and were still able to get in a couple of other big rides before lines built up.

I think it is well worth the price, and allows you to get a great head start on the day. The breakfast isn't as good as what you would get at Crystal Palace, but it is a decent breakfast, probably worth the $20 you suggested.

I think the 'is it worth it' answer is best summed up by, 'How many times do you wish to ride the rides available?' If you enjoy riding WTP, PP and SDMT multiple times then this is a great option for you as you should be able to ride each multiple times. I've also hear the breakfast and CMs at the breakfast are excellent!

If you're the kind of person who is happy riding a ride once or twice, this may not be a good choice for you. Our family will ride SDMT multiple times but are happy with once a day through WTP and PP. For us, the better option is an 8:00 BoG reservation with the hope of being able to ride SDMT once or twice before park opening.

My kids got 9 rides on 7dmt and two PPs. Just one Pooh. Then got an early start on SM and BTMR. Breakfast was good and relaxed. I’d do it again in a second.
