Definitely don't want to discuss politics. We're just usually glued to the tv at home but we don't want to miss a day of Disney Magic sitting in our hotel room. We'll check our resort's pub later in the evening I guess.

Otherwise, the only way to really watch all that would be to stay in the room and watch. They don't play news, etc in the 'world.' If you are going to want to be watching all the results come in, it might be better to plan the trip another day.Otherwise, the only way to really watch all that would be to stay in the room and watch. Many years ago, my husband and I were at WDW during the OJ Simpson car chase, etc. When we left a few days later, we were still totally in the dark and had no idea what people were talking about. We had not heard one peep of current event news while we were there. To this day, I think we were the only people in America who did not see it.

It's a small, small (insular) world at WDW. We were there during the end of the olympics. I thought maybe we'd be able to see closing ceremonies since were were in Epcot (England naturally). There was nothing of the sort going on. I did buy my little guy an olympics mascot t-shirt (on sale).
