Hi everyone.I am trying to plan a trip to Disney during the week of Halloween. Is it very crowded this time of year? What kind of activities do they have?I have been trying to plan a trip for some time now and we haven't had the money. We just had a garage sale and made $1200.Tha's a good start for us so I'm hoping to go this year.Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!:)

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is done on Fri and Sun nights in Oct as well as on Halloween and the day after. They run from 7pm-12mn (or 1am?), and make for a great time to visit Magic Kingdom if you have limited time/$. They cost ~$25 for kids 3-9, and ~$30 for 10 and up (if purchased in advance). Great fun, and the crowds are very limited, as well as all of the other special stuff. I also understand that there is trick-or-treating at Downtown Disney, and I know that there is more to do to (Haunted or spooky hayrides at Fort Wilderness, maybe some one else has the details on this one).

It's a great time of year to go, great weather and not too many crowds, as well as the Food and Wine Festival in Epcot at the end of October.

I have a question about tickets for the MNSSHP. If you have park hopper passes or other vacation package plans for that day is there an extra charge to goet into the party or is it included?

Hi GMA - the MNSSHP tickets are an additional purchase to your hopper passes - and the only way you can stay in the park to attend the party. There is a MNSSHP thread with loads of info on it. I believe someone posted that the dates of Oct. 26th to Oct 31st were sold out for the party. I'm sure someone will post some more specific info for you - but hope this helps.

If the dates from 10/26-31 are sold out, you still can go on November 1st, I would be surprised if that one is sold out. As viluvsdisney pointed out, yes it will still cost extra, but it is a great way to do the Magic Kingdom!

on Nov 1st. I just ordered my tickets for the 31st and didn't see a date for the 1st. It would have worked better for us on the first though!!

Actually MNSSHP is done more then on Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween. We have tickets for a Thursday, the 16th. They also are on Tuesdays too. Every year they have been adding more and more days to them. I think there are Sundays in there now too. I agree that it is a fun time. We go every year in October specifically for MNSSHP. It really is the best event WDW offers IMO. There are no crowds in October and the weather is great too.
