Disney Dreams Bridge Tour

We were in the Walt suite on the Fantasy in July 2012 and requested a galley tour, but didn't get one.

DH received a bridge tour on the Fantasy on June 7th 2013. They only do it while in port and no issues with weather and such.

To get an invitation you must go to the Guest Services desk and request to send a note to the Captains Assistant. They should give you a card and envelope. Simply address the note to the Captain and make a note that if at all possible you would like to have a tour of the bridge. There is no guarantee that you will receive an invitation. Give it a try.

The tour DH went on was while the Fantasy was at Castaway Cay. This was after the Fantasy had made an emergency stop at Nassau before going to Castaway Cay. We only had about 5 hours at CC so I think that may be the reason they were giving tours that day.

DH did say that others were on the bridge while he was there an others coming in. Do dress nicely, he said. You don't need full dinner attire, however; no tank tops or wet swim suites. Just clean up a bit. The bridge is a special place so be respectfully dressed and mindful of the crews time while there. DH was impressed with how posh the bridge seems to be. VERY orderly as well, he said. DH was on the USS Eisenhower so this was a major step up in quality, he said. ::yes::

HO!!... We are gold Castaway Club Members to that may have helped.

HAL recently changed this. They still offer the back areas tour (laundry, crew areas, kitchens, etc). But the bridge tour portion is only offered on port days, for $75.00.

Hmmm... DH was not charged for the bridge tour on the Fantasy. Nor was there any mention of a charge.

Thank you for this I will follow your instructions and fingers crossed. can i ask what you put one your note just a simple I would like a bridge tour or did you give a little detail as to why you were interested in the bridge tour. We have been on the bridge of the USS JFK and it was breath taking so I can imagine how posh the disney bridge must be.

Nov 2011, took a cruise on Celebrity & had an invitation left in our stateroom for a tour. Of course we went. we were able to be on the bridge while we were at sea. It was a great experience, we were just ordinary ppl on the ship in a balcony room didn't even plan the trip but a week or so ahead of time, maybe its just luck that u get picked. Don't know DCL rules.

I haven't ever been, but I bet a pic of him in uniform or in his Pearl Harbor shirt or something might not hurt!

DH said he simply stated that if there is no inconvenience that he would like to tour the bridge of the ship.
