Tuesaday, June 1st
Magic Kingdom
We decided to take the bus over to Magic this morning. I was very impressed with the buses over at POP. We were at CBR last June & we greatly disappointed with the buses/waits. POP really seemed to have everything organized.
Anyway, we watched the opening. We always seemed to missed that so that was nice to see this time around.
DH & I quickly talked about a stroller for DS but decided we would try it without. He usually does great in MK without one.
Once we were let through, we decided to hop on the Train & get off at Frontierland & hit BTMRR. I wanted to see if that seemed to beat some of the crowd. Well, it really worked out well.
We got off at Frontierland & head on over to BTMRR. There was NO line, so we hop on in! It was awesome to just walk on that ride.
Afterwards we headed up to the Haunted Mansion. This is another family favorite for all of us. We can not get enough of this ride. There was no one waiting for this ride also! YEAH!!!! (so far so good)
We grab a FP for later, remember we LOVE this ride & then headed over to Advertureland.
We did the Pirate ride first, before it got too busy. We exit the Pirate ride & of course my son has to stop & play with all the pirate toys!
We headed on up to the Jungle Cruise, but there was already a 40 min wait for it. Sorry....I will not wait 40 mins for that ride!
We decided to go to the Tiki Room. We never experienced this, so we did not know what we were in for.....well, it was a nice place to cool off & have that song stuck in your head all day!!!!!!
We go back up to the Haunted Mansion & use up the FP. We go to STROLLERLAND......opps, I mean Fantasyland......and grab a FP for Peter Pan, which already had a 50 min wait! YIKES!
We quickly ducked into Mickey's Philharmagic. I just have to say, this is the BEST 3D show I have ever since. We just love this show & could never get tired of it. Hats off to the Disney people on this attration
Anyway, we look at the wait for the Pooh Ride & decided we would catch that during the parade. Head off to Tomorrowland, I was surprised to see that the Buzz ride only had a 20 min wait. We quickly bump in line & it really wasn't too long before we were saving the Planet
We head on over to the TTA....DS just loves going on this & it gives daddy & me a chance to get off our feet for a bit.
After that short rest, we head on over to the Carousel of Progress. Last December was our first time ever experiencing this attration & we all loved it. We were so happy to see it was open now.
We all had a wonderful time singing "it's a great big beauitful tomorrow"
at least now that Tiki song is out of my head
The parade is about to start, so we head on over to the Indy Speedway. DS really enjoys this ride, luckily the line is only 20 minutes. I send the boys on this ride while sat on a bench & did some people watching....oh the things you see or hear!!!!!!
After the boys got done with their racing
We headed back to stroller....er...fantasyland. It seems the strollers must have been on Main Street for the parade! Well, we decided to hop the Winnie the Pooh ride & on are way to the Peter Pan ride, DS wanted to stop & ride Dumbo. I was trying to avoid that, but how can a 4 yr old miss a bunch of flying elephants???? The line was OK, about 30 min wait. I just sent DH & DS on it, while I did some more people watching
Finally after a quick spin on Dumbo, we use our FPs on Peter Pan. We were a little late, that darn elephant, but they let us in with no problems.
After flying to Neverland, we headed back to POP to get ready for our PS supper. We had a 5:40pm PS at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and friends.
DS gets dressed up back in his Prince outfit & we decided to drive over to the Grand Floridian.
We were seated very promptly. The Fairy Godmother greeted DS in the lobby. We had wonderful character interaction. DS & Prince Charming took a wonderful picture together.
We ate & ate & ate! We love 1900!!!
We quickly thought about going to see SpectroMagic again, but decided we were all too stuffed & just wanted to go back to POP & rest.
