Glad you enjoyed Tangled! I definitely want to see it. And I didn't read the review in our paper yet but my dad said it got 3 1/2 stars out of 4, so it must be pretty decent!

I can't believe your trip is coming up so fast. I was just thinking too, while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade that the WDW Christmas parade taping is probably going to be soon...do you know if it's going to be done while you're there?

I'm so tempted to see Tangled again tomorrow night when Kathryn arrives so her and Alex can see it too before we go..... but there's just no time. Yes! The Christmas parade taping will be going on while we're at MK on the 4th. From what I've read on it, you can take it one of two ways:

1--> avoid MK on this day at all costs because of the crowds on Main Street; *or*
2--> plan on going on this day because most people avoid MK, and just stay away from Main Street.

I'm quite happy we'll be there for it actually. On Christmas morning while we're watching it, I will be beaming from ear to ear knowing we were there. It does remind me that we likely won't get to the Main Street Bakery that day. We'll probably bump that to the 6th.

Here's a bit more info from the Chip & Co website:

"If you decide to visit the MK that day, just be aware that you’ll likely be escorted “backstage” so you can move more easily around the parade.

If you’re used to seeing the Magic Kingdom decorated for Christmas you may be surprised to find that prior to the taping, the large Christmas tree you normally see in Town Square isn’t there. They move it from another location in the park to Town Square after the parade, so that there’s no obstruction of the view."

Yay!!! We leave tomorrow and you gutys the next day. So so so close!! We are supposed to be at DHS on 3rd with that rain. I am thinking that will be a good park for a rainy day, lots inside and nice and small. I am only worried about fgetting to the Osbourne Lights in the rain.

I LOOOOVED Tangled too! We saw it last night and it was sooo good! I laughed out loud several times. I was a little surprised in the ending but it was still a new favorite! I definitely want a Pascal (he was added to my favorite characters list)!

We will definately be getting this on DVD when it comes out! The ending surprised me too, I wasn't expecting it. Pascal would be very cool to have.... something tells me merchandise will be selling well.

Movie

What a great night this has been! Ariana and Demetri are in the living room right now watching ......

.... and right now I'm bopping away to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer as I'm typing!


Today my to-do list was a bit fuller then previous days. Did I get everything done?


Pins


I started off sorting through all our pins with the kids and deciding what goes and what stays. We ended up having 52 in the 'what comes with us' pile. (By the way, I'm belting out 'Jingle Bell Rock' now! ) Lucky thirteen pins per kid to last them 10 days.


DIY Window Clings


I've spent the last little while making my own window clings. Never done that before so I was a bit timid getting started but once I discovered how easy it truly is -- I've had so much fun!!


(Rocking Around the Christmas Tree now! )


We'll have two room windows to decorate. First thing I knew I wanted for each window.....

I inverted it first so the writing would be correctly showing to the outside.


Then I wanted to show the love for this awesome site.....

I put four on one page and again inverted it. I'll put two in each window.

(Now swaying back and forth to my ultimate favorite Christmas song "White Christmas" )


Next, I was really getting into the hang of it and used my avatar to make this.....

I inverted them and printed out two sheets of these so there'll be lots.


Then I wondered if I could put my name on the avatars..... .... and look what I made!!!

Pretty basic, but I'm so proud of myself!


Character Listings & Park/Times Listings


OK, then it was time to print off the last minute character listings and the last minute park/times listings. Went to go find that great site I'd come across and mentioned on here earlier, WDW Characterhunt.... only to find the site completely gone. I have no idea what happened, but the site is no more. But I found someone who mentioned an alternate site --> Unofficial Disney Character Hunting Guide and I've bookmarked it to print off their checklists tomorrow from work. Not nearly the same detail, but definately enough to get us what we need!


I'm going to print off the hours from work too and that'll do it for my Thursday items.



Well, since starting the update, I've tucked the kids into bed and I'll soon be following. Good night everyone!

George shakes his head at me sometimes with all the time I spend on the computer and occasionally I get a, "what more are you possibly planning?" ... but for me, it's truly all the little small things like the mousekeeping envelopes and the custom window clings that make a good trip a really GREAT trip. Even if I'm (and all of you of course! ) the only one who knows the efforts put in. Does that make sense?

Yeeeeee! We're in the midst of a cold snap here and it's trying very hard to snow. As long as my plane takes off tomorrow morning OK, I think it's a fitting send off!

They were from Staples and I think they were $20 for six 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. Not bad considering the fun I had doing them.

It's crazy that we're leaving tomorrow -- CRAZY!!
