Hi everyone! A bit of a hodgepodge update today.



First, my desktop wall paper has now been updated to reflect our new resort booking.

I took this picture last August as part of the scavenger hunt we had on our arrival day. So much fun!! Next, I finally have a picture of Kathryn. I got it from Alex and it looks like a typical fourteen year old profile picture. Here she is!

Her weekend here went well and she's anxiously planning a return visit. She has a soft spot for Mater but loves everything Mickey.






Now I’d like to introduce you to my new friend Widget. I met Widget on the Disney Parks Blog one fine day. Has anyone else met Widget?

Widget is very helpful and likes to give me lots of information about our upcoming trip. Tips, offers and quicklinks to the Disney website….

Even providing several moments of Magic, just for fun….. (this one is the Black Pearl gliding across the suitcase firing cannons!)

Although I still have yet to explore all that Widget has to offer, at the very least, I have a cute little countdown that lets me know at a glance how many more sleeps to tell Demetri until our trip.






Earlier tonite, I suddenly remembered about some t-shirts I’d bought for the kids while on a Disney Store jaunt. I’d tucked them away and almost forgot about them!

And I love, love these t-shirts from a series for Ariana. Mickey, Minnie and Pooh Bear. I need to get back and see if they have any others….

I’ll start detailing our planned days in my next update. Just like my last PTR, I want to cover everything about each day. The park, ADRS, must do’s and wanna do’s, possible souvenier shopping items, hidden mickey’s, secrets and special events, memories, pictures… everything! This time around though, we need to talk about all the Christmas things going on too!

I just got my DS that Toy Story shirt I thought it was really, really cute. Old Navy has cute Toy Story shrits as well under their graphic tshirt line.

I am here! Happy Birthday! I just finished reading your TR from last year and I loved it! As you can see in my siggie, we were there some of the same time. We are planning another trip for early summer 2011 and I am hoping for at least "10 sleeps". Even after 5 trips, there is alot more to see and do. Your ADRs look great. O'hana and LeCellier are definitely on our list for 2011. Glad to hear that you have loved them so much. We actually had O'hana breakfast booked in 2009 but it was our last day and the wait was so long (even with an ADR) that we had to leave. We walked into Kona and it was excellent! Still want O'hana though so we will try again in 2011!

I was thinking about asking for the 50's section again. That worked out perfectly last time.... just steps to the main building and bus stops. I'm spoiled now. Newly refurbed rooms are a definate plus.

Aren't those shirts so nice? It's been too long since we made a trip to the Disney Store, I'm going to try and squeeze in a visit this weekend I think.

Hey Angie! No worries, it happens to us all. I think I'm caught up on most of my subscriptions... except maybe LL's... she's wicked fast!

I may have some tweaking here or there for times, but I'm happy with my ADRs. The new reservation system sure makes it easy to move things around.

I won't be doing a ptr but I'm going to attempt my first tr when we get back.

yippeee for the new desktop and widget! I had completely forgot about it! When they first sent the email that it was out it didn't work at first. Then I forgot! I wonder if they have a mac version!? I have to find out!
