If I have understood correctly, Dreams will remain as the night show every day of the year. While fireworks are seasonal (only Summer High Season every year) Dreams will be available everyday.

I had read until September but not sure when (like others have said, if it is anything like the 15 yrs celebrations, it went on for years lol!). I can't see it finishing then though as they want to get their monies worth - they have spent a lot of money on this show/infrastructure etc. So, I think you will be safe :thumbsup2.

But, what I still can't understand is how DLRP are getting away with fireworks every night (or are they?) again I'd heard/read rumours that they may have two different shows - one with fireworks and one without (I'll be so disappointed if I don't get to see fireworks on one of my trips as they do add to the whole atmosphere :goodvibes).

I wish they would hurry up and add the extra opening times too so we know where we are with it all :lmao:.

I know, I'm impatient ;):rolleyes1

PS - OP - good luck with booking your trip :)

My reckoning is that there will be fireworks only during the high summer season and that they'll be added onto the end of Dreams or else will be shortly after it.

I guess we'll all know soon enough.

I know Elaine, see, I said I was impatient ;):rotfl2:.

I agree re fireworks, I just can't see how they can have them all year round. From what I can gather the fireworks aren't all the way through Dreams anyway (looking on DLRP Today).

But, slightly OT, who is interested in the rumour of '20th ans' meal plans that supposedly give you access to a VIP viewing area?

Dreams is confirmed to run from 1st of April until the 31st of September. I'd bet that it runs beyond that. The main park will be open until 10pm on all of those nights.

I don't know what's happening regarding fireworks. If they don't go too high and don't make much noise, they might be allowed them on more nights.

I'm also looking at a September trip. I'm hoping that Fantilussion will be on.

Apparently there will be several VIP meal plan options. Some will be in counter service restaurants. I'd guess that some of the hub will be sectioned off for these people. There's also a chance to drink champagne and watch them from the Disneyland hotel. The music from the show will be played in Fantasia bar.

I'm really excited about this. It sounds like we're finally getting the nigh time show that we deserve!

I am quite interested in the meal plans too. It is something we might consider if it meant getting a good view without so much waiting beforehand:goodvibes I would be quite surprised if dreams really did stop at the end of September after the amount of time and money they have put into it, especially as it gets dark much earlier over the winter so they could run it without needing longer opening hours.

It will be interesting to see the VIP viewing areas. There can't be that many so I would think it will be very expensive. Might be worth it for one night though :thumbsup2

Happy Tappy - has 10 pm definitely been confirmed?

you people know how t0o make me even morrrrrrrrrre excited :) i have a great feeling about this trip :) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ooh, this is new to me. Interesting. :)

There will be special menu's available at Hyperion, En Coulisses and Chalet De La Marionette. It's not known whether these will include access to premium viewing spot.

Thank you - it sounds (and looks) great. My eldest DD and I got up at silly o'clock to watch the live streaming of the premiere of the World of Colour (yes, I know we're sad ;) ) it will be so lovely to get our own DLP version. :cloud9:

Elaine, I like your thinking re the Champagne ;-) Also, there would be nothing to stop you sitting in the Fantasia bar with a cocktail while you wait lol!

Oh my, as I said in an earlier post, it's a special wedding anniversary on our November trip (on the Friday) I would SO love to do Walts and have the VIP viewing - really hope it is still available in November (but then to be fair will they need it then - will it be sooo busy as July/Aug say?)

Happy Tappy - thanks for all the info :-) Great news about the 10 pm closure!

Just been reading on another forum regarding the fireworks every night rumour. I don't think there will be fireworks because the World of Colour likey show will be spectacular enough? And World of Colour was the idea in Disneyland Anaheim because they can't have fireworks either?

I just can't see there being a new parade, new nighttime show and fireworks each night. But then again if the parks are going to be open until 10pm every night?

All the TV ads/promos are already shouting about whats new so surely they would have been saying about the fireworks as well?

Pyrotechnics are definitely part of Dreams. They are mentioned specifically in the promo material/photos released this week and video. Whether they will be on all season remains to be seen.

I don't think people are saying fireworks in addition to Dreams here, they are saying fireworks as a small part of the Dreams show :).

A separate fireworks show will not be played but instead fireworks will be incorporated into Dreams. The show is expected to run for many years, not just for the 20th anniversary. This is real show-stopping spectacular that I wouldn't be surprised if it was still running by the 30th anniversary :lmao:.
