I have been looking for information on this Vista Gallery on the Disney Dream for a while and I can only find the same information over and over again, that it is a beautiful gallery with great pieces and some for sale.

But I am curious as to the selection of the pieces for sale.
Are they only the originals for sale?
If there are prints of the originals for sale, are there a variety of prints, or just limited sizes and mediums?
Also and always on everyones mind, what are the prices like?
And of course how to get the piece back home, are shipping options reasonable or even available?

Please anyone that has experience buying any art on the ship weigh in, I feel like I'm going half crazy trying to find information to no avail.

Thanks!

on the newer ships, the gallery is a space to itself and there is more merchandise. on the classic ships, its more like a hallway? there are originals, lithographs and posters - a variety of things can be there, but you don’t really know. there are things you see at art of disney and exclusive things. small posters can be like $30 or something like that, and there are original one f a kind things for hundreds if not thousands. there are usually many things n the canvas type selection that could be $100-$400 dollars. it really depends on the what and when. HTH

I am sure the dream is the same as the fantasy.it's a room midship pretty much. They have art and one of a kind pieces. Me and the wife bought a repunzle Thomas. K and they ship it via FedEx from the warehouse. I think it says it's 1 of 300 it's individualy numbered. They have some art that's from 50.00 - 10k

If you dont mind me asking, (even a round about estimate is fine) what did you pay for the piece? and was shipping expensive?

I only ask because it sounds exactly like the sort of piece we will be looking for when we go.

I enquired about shipping to Europe and for a medium sized picture it would have been 60$. This was on a cruise in the Caribbean. So, I think shipping to the US would be cheaper. The pictures I were interested were around 400-600$. All of those were not originals, but out of smallish limited canvas reproductions (like 200 per edition or so).

It was a little over a thousand here's a picture

That's a beautiful piece!

Awesome!
Thanks for the info. We are in Canada, so I'm thinking shipping isn't going to be far off your Europe quote.

We were on the Dream 6/8. Vista Gallery is on Deck 4 Midship. Prices range from $175 to 5K. There are some originals and giclees. And some Thomas Kinkade. We ended up buying a small print for $39.99 of a Darren Wilson. If we bought the bigger pieces, we can leave the ship with it (if size is reasonable enough to carry) or ship it. Shipping starts at $40 within the US. Coincidentally, I was at the mall here at home and passed by an art gallery selling Thomas Kinkade pieces. I saw some of the pieces that were in the Vista Gallery.
