Wow there is certainly a lot of us doing a B2B with this cruise and the 4 night prior! Ithink we have just earned our own private escort off the ship! I hear thats whats done with the larger groups. Skoi, I too have never done a B2B before and doubt we'll get assigned the same stateroom for both cruises. Currently we are GTY

Hi Debbie...I've been checking out the Dream too...she is all lit up. Tomorrow is the christening....I can't wait to find out who her godmother is.

I hope all all of you are having a good week. My big count down is going on now. After tomorrow, Friday, I have just 3 more weeks - 15 working days until my semi-retirement!!! Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally looking forward to this guys!!!

Ok you guys, how many of you watched the Dreams Christening live yesterday......................let me see a show of hands...................oh come on, get those hands up in the air..............that's better................let me see..........1.....2....3.....4......5.....6......7....8....9....well it looks like just about everyone got to see it live. But, not me.........noooooooooooo, not me..............I had to work. Just before leaving work for the day, I checked DCL's website and saw DW and I could watch a replay of the Christening. So, when I got home I cranked up the ol' home desktop computer............got on the internet...........went to DCL's website.....................and what do I find...................they took down the replay of the Christening! I cryed my little eyes out!!! Maybe I'll find something somewhere on here a replay of the Christening. If any of you know of a link............I'd be greatly appreciate it.

Well, better get back to work, break time is over. Talk to ya'll again real soon.

Hi Monika! I watched the Christening on a YouTube video this morning. For some reason I couldn't get the video to replay on dcl's website. But I plan on watching some more YouTube videos of it this weekend.

Thanks, I needed to hear that I wasn't the only one who didn't get to see the Christening live. After drying my eyes, I did a search and did find a shortened version on the DIS site. So DW and I watched that. Sure was a very nice event. We are going to look for some others, maybe on You Tube.

Looks like the Oasis of the Seas is going to be in Nassau with us. http://cruisett.com/ports.php?PortID=455&date=37 But, she is listed there from 13:00 - 19:00. The Dream is listed from 9:30 - 19:00. I guess, if you plan on doing anything in Nassau, do it early and get out. The port load is listed at 9400!!!

Hey DizDragonfly, thanks for that information. There is going to allot of people on the island that day. You don't think Nassau will sink with all of those extra people on her do you????

DW and I have been to Nassau before, but we do want to see some of the historical sites of the island while we are there. On this B2B cruise, our second stop there, we will probably stay on board the Dream and do some exploring of the ship. This is going to be fun guys, and it is getting closer and closer with each passing day!!!!

I'd like to do the FE but never did one and don't really know how. Can anyone give me some info? What type of gifts? How to make the FE?

Oohhh...sorry to hear about the surgery and being out of work for 6 weeks, but I'm sure it will be well worth it to get rid of that horrible carpal tunnel pain!

The FE is really what you want to make of it. You can make or purchase a Fish Extender (there is someone that sells BEAUTIFUL ones on Ebay).

You can give one gift per stateroom or one gift per person in the stateroom. It is entirely up to you. You can give a gift each night of the cruise or just choose one night to give your gift(s). You can make something home made or you can buy something. Below are some links to some FE threads. One is home made gifts, one is purchased gifts, one gives instructions on how to make a FE, and the others are general info I guess. LOL

You'll have a lot on your plate with your wedding, though. Are you sure you want to participate in the FE?! Don't get me wrong, I'd love another participant, but please don't feel like we're forking out peer pressure here on the thread!

Yep, Monika, I have only 12 full working days until I semi-retire!!! This is giong to be great ya'll. And, yes Monika, DW has that hunny do list started and I have a feeling it is going to grow, and grow, and grow. It will never end!!! But at least I will be able to stop and take a break whenever I want to!!!

Just a heads up, if you are planning on staying in Port Canaveral the night before the cruise ... The Marriott Residence Inn is already completely booked up!! I snagged a Country Inn and Suites room.

Here's a notice I just received from my TA this evening:

The Disney Dream has been a huge hit! Space was already selling quickly before last week's Maiden Voyage. Now, sales are even more brisk. As a result, we have been notified by Disney Cruise Line that they will be pulling much of what is left of our exclusive inventory of insides and oceanviews effective with the close of business this Thursday (February 3, 2011).

Once Disney Cruise Line pulls this inventory, you will probably not be able to get an inside or oceanview on any sailing through October 30, 2011.

Some people on the boards were thinking the new ship, probably wouldn't sail at full capacity for many sailings. I think the opposite is exactly possible and likely for most of the Dreams sailings.
I have one ocean view GTY stateroom booked for each portion of this B2B cruise. My Hope is that I at least get the same stateroom for both parts. That to me would be Pixie Dust!!
