I hope they allow for more Wi-Fi for all the required use of the Navigator Apps. It seems like you need to keep your phones with you everywhere? Chat feature, activities, menus, reservations... the need for your phone is clear. Wi-Fi last time was like only 50MB of data.... so if I use the Navigator App, I use no data? Trying to remember....

That's what I thought... I think the trick was to keep it in Airplane mode and just use for Navigator App.Using the app is free onboard
POPCORN...
Room Service....
Thats all thats needed on my side.
And a related question, are they distancing guests in the theater?Could someone clarify this policy for me? I thought the official policy was masks on, unless seated/distanced to eat or drink? To me this would indicate that you can eat in the theater as long as you replace your mask once done with your snack (how most theaters on land still are now). Is there a policy that I am missing somewhere that indicates you cannot take food into the theater?
I believe the policy is that you can remove the mask when seated to eat/drink in proper areas. There is currently no food or drink allowed in the theater so that they don't have to police this in the theater.Could someone clarify this policy for me? And it helps with the business expense when Disney isn't giving them a ride for free. I don't know that DCL was handing out cabins to influencers for this trip. These youtubers don't compete though. They coordinate and collaborate. These channels don't put out enough content to need to compete.
Additionally by collabarating they ensure your eyes stay in their content realm instead of moving to alternatives like DIY Youtube, Netflix, Sports, Twitch, ect.
Yes to keep people from crowding the exits onto Castaway. I actually prefer it! I’ll sit on my balcony for 20 minutes and then go stroll off then stand on the stairs in a crowd for 10 minutes.Virtual queue? Really?

I remember when I could just throw my phone in the safe and lock it up for the duration of the cruise.I hope they allow for more Wi-Fi for all the required use of the Navigator Apps. They had a year and a half to significantly upgrade the WiFi on all their ships, but I'm sure they did nothing
I wonder how you get this to work at sea. All hotspots require a cell signal to piggy back on. At sea you'd be using the ship's cellular repeater which is more expensive than the ship's Wi-FiNo good $$ to be made on wifi upgrades for Disney so its understandable that they don't do it, and won't.
If ppl really need wifi (and most do especially these days) I suggest buying a wifi hotspot..
I suggest:
https://www.skyroam.com/wifi-pricing$120 for the device & if you buy a monthly plan is about $3 a day. Less than what a latte costs at cove cafe.
Been using it in cruises since 2018 and works real good if you're close to land. But spotty in the middle of the sea.
Totally worth it.

It makes a huge difference. I was able to actually work a few days on two of my most recent cruises (Royal Caribbean and Celebrity), Zoom video conferences and all. It meant that I could take much longer vacations than I would otherwise have been able to. Disney is wayyyyyy behind on internet connectivity. So ball is back in Disney's court to invest in wifi where we can get a larger service offering. I might end up taking extra cruises if I could access email while gone.
