I am trying to get my Best Friend to go, but I don't think he wants to and I am waiting to hear if he can get the days off from work. I am going nuts. If he can't go then I have to find someone! It is bad that I am more upset over this trip than my 7 year break up?

I already bought airfare and I'm willing to take that hit, but This cruise will kill me if it doesn't work out. I've had to take a xanax for the passed 2 days because I am about to have a panic attack!

I feel you on the anxiety.... dont feel bad... secretly, i've been having an affair with Mickey for quite a while now... dont tell my husband.... LOL!

I did have one more 20 yo that wanted to go but I didnt have enough people over 21 to put him in a room... Would you consider selling the points if you cant find a roomie? He is a "starving college kid, so his budget is tight" but just wanted to throw that out there...

Mostly, I hope you can find a friend... how about another friend since this one seems uncertain.... I know I would just be sick at my stomach.... I booked our cruise over a year out....

I had a weird situation...

I am a cast member and my CM ID expired this aug. I was coming down Oct 4 - Oct 6th with my BFF to get a new ID so I can have it for my cruise with my now ex-b/f

So I was going to fly to Florida oct 4...go home to NY oct 6th...then go back to florida oct 8th for the cruise cause my ex can't take fridays off...

Now I am trying to get my BFF to come for the cruise instead of oct 4 - oct 6th.

I had Bay lake tower booked on the 8th cause my ex and I were going to do food & wine...lol

My BFF can't take off work from oct 4 - oct 13...so if he can come...I have to cancel oct 4 - 6 at bay lake tower and just come the 7th (friday) to get my ID cause access control is only open mon-fri for new IDs lol...

What a mess...lol...I don't even know how to explain it lol

So ideally, I need my BFF to be able to get off work oct 7 - oct 13 and just book everything then and switch our oct 4 - oct 6th airfare...hopefully

I just hate being in a state of not knowing and not being able to fix anything at the moment. Please god let everything turn out ok... lol

It is a long time since I have called into this board- with 4 cruises almost in a row it is tricky to organize!! LOL. We would like to join the fish extender list- what do we need to do. We have not sailed Disney before. I am travelling with my 9 year old daughter and my mother. Our cabin number is 6680. So what a mess. I changed the name on the cruise. I knew that there was going to be a 95 dollar fee, but they wanted an additional 20% of DVVC points. I had to cancel Bay lake Tower for Oct 4 - Oct 6th. Someone is going to be happy if they get their waitlist. Just moved 4 flights to different days and canceled one round trip for another flight. There are no DVC hotels available on the night of Oct 7th So I am in hotel limbo. Waitlisted for Bay Lake, I doubt I will get it. I have Bay lake for the night of the 8th though. Should I wait 7 days before the trip to see if the waitlist goes through before I book a hotel for the 7th? lol

In response to emtmom's 5K question... I would LOVE to run that 5K, but I haven't been able to find it listed on the excursions. I have no idea how much it is to enter that run?!?! Even an estimate of the cost would be helpful if no one knows the exact amount. I've entered 5Ks as cheap as $10 and as expensive as $50.

In addition, I've found it difficult to find out anything much about the gym/exercise area. I would love to see more pictures if anyone has any! It would be very helpful to find out the gym's hours of operation!

Some of the navigators elude to group fitness classes(i.e. yoga, spin), but I'm unable to determine a cost or where to sign-up for these.

Besides the gym, I read that 2.5 laps around the track = 1 mile. Is that correct? Also, I heard The Dream's elevators get super crowded - as if we needed ANOTHER reason to take the stairs! Ha!

(Wish there was a smiley icon were on a StairMaster, Spin Bike, or with a barbell in hand. I'd insert one of those here if it were an option).

We're interested in doing the 5K also. From what my husband read, there is no entry fee & you don't have to register, you just show up.

I don't know about the gym on the Dream, but the ones on the Wonder & Magic were nice & never packed! The TMLs were in the front row with floor to ceiling windows so you could look out at the ocean while you ran. If I remember correctly, the group classes, yoga etc. were free, but don't hold me to that!
