Thank you for putting together the list. It looks great! Love the extra column about special stuff for the participants

This was on my todo this weekend as well . Wondering if we could do a private document, maybe on google docs, so we can share without it going on the internet public. I would be happy to set this up!!

Also wanted thoughts from the group on how many rooms we want to add to the list. Thinking 15 or maybe 20? We can follow the confirmation process suggested by PrincessShmoo. Then start the pixie dust list.

I originally made an excel spreadsheet, how come it wouldn't let me post it?

Regarding private conversations, I noticed some users don't have a "start a conversation" feature in their profile. Is that a setting?

No, users have to have at least 10 posts before the conversation feature is available for them.

I'm not sure about how to post an excel spreadsheet. The only thing I know how to do is post a picture. Maybe you could change it into a picture?

My wife and two daughters will be going on this cruise. This is our 3rd Disney Cruise and 2nd on the Dream. Can you send us the link for the FE group? We'd love to join and have done it the last few times we've cruised.

Did you start the private conversation? Did you check the "Allow anyone in the conversation to invite others" box? If not, only you can invite (add) others. You do this by scrolling down to the bottom of the conversation and, in the "Conversation Participants" window there's an "Invite more" button.

@Graciemon, Unfortunately, you won't be able to post the spreadsheet if external links are not allowed . A picture would work, but then you have to post that somewhere to link it. The privacy options seem extremely limited. It seems like the best way with these parameters would be to do a private conversation where people join and send the person keeping the master list the details. Then that person can send out the spreadsheet to each participating person. I assume email might be ok. Or maybe post it to the private thread.

Hi all and thanks Graciemom. Thanks for the spread sheet and tried to respond today, but visual card on the fritz and I kept getting stuck - ugh. Anyhow Coach and I are going to withdraw from participating. We are fortunate to be in a one room suite, in concierge, since we last joined the group ( by the way the folks that have the stateroom we had last year's ** saw you listed in This group** you are going to love the location!! Anyhow, I did some reading about deck 12 and fish extender exchange and we really don't want to imposition all of you. Oh mind you. We did it last year and it was a blast, but all of you have too much to do and see and not be bothered with a buzzer each time you wanted to reach our stateroom and waiting for someone to let you in the gate. We hope you all gave a blast creating, buying and exchanging. Many people made their extenders, but I bought a beautiful one from Etsy last year, but don't wait to long to order- trust me, I did but seller same through. 82 says to go and tonight Dream and Magic were both in Nassau and watched and heard horn battle on the Portz web cam - it was great! Must have been awesome to have been there!!

Pas we are going away from the norm and using our DVC resort to stay the night before we sail. We are staying in Cape Canav and will be over at Fish Lips on Saturday night to watch - I think it's the Magic - sail off. If anyone is going be down there, drop a line!!

@Sue2aT, there's no gate stopping people from reaching the Concierge rooms. The Dream had one originally, but they were removed. The Fantasy never had them.

Hi @Sue2aT! I haven't peeked at the port web cams for awhile. Used to watch the sailing from Port Canaveral when I needed my fix. Must have been awesome to hear the horn battle!!

I assumed if Google Docs wasn't allowed, neither would office. But if it is possible ... @Graciemon, you could try using Office365 or sharing your excel Spreadsheet using OneDrive.

I'll admit that I'm not very "tech-y" or social media site savvy, but I think Google is a site that can have other sites linked into it. And, since DISboards doesn't want any of use being "lured" to other social media sites, that's why it's not allowed. I'm not sure about excel.

Hi Sinders, the cams can be addictive! Have you ever gone back and watched your own sail off? Also fun and the horn battle gives me chills!! And Princessshmoo, just spoke w/ shore side Conc and they said gates are up.

Well, unless the gates have been put back up, they were wrong. The gates were removed in Sept 2013. That was reported by many people once they removed them.

Could you please report back after your cruise and let us know if they have been replaced?

Not a problem! I sure will Also I need to correct myself, from last night. We will be staying in Port Canav on Sunday - not Saturday night - and heading over at Fish Lips to watch the MAGIC - I think it is the Magic, sail off! Like I wrote, if you are going to be in the area, please drop a line; and for our first timers, Fish Lips is a restaurant/bar where the camera is based for the Portz Web Cams.
