Disney Dream May 1, 2011

Very impressive byejou and PrLissette!!! I wish I was packed already. I am trying though. I am filling a basket with little things as I think of them; a suggestion I read somewhere on the forums. I do hope to break my usually night before record and be packed the week before instead.:thumbsup2

Make a list it helps out I have good packing list that I use everytime we travel if you want I can PM it to you anytime =). I go off that list and to make it fun my hubby and I make that 75 day mark night packing date night where we talk about the trip and plan our route we will have another packing date night a week before May 1 to go over everything lol we our big kids at heart . Plus since our trip is a suprise to our godson and his two other siblings. We have to do it in advance so we don't blow our cover :rotfl: they are always in our house. I hope this help good luck packing =)

We got our stateroom assignment today!! We booked a 6A and got a 6A...so no pixie dust :( Oh well though!
We are going to be in room 8682 - from looking at stateroom reports...I think we have one of the rooms with the extra large verandah!!

Got our room for our May 1st Dream cruise. Booked 11C got 11C deck 2. No pixie dust but thats okay. I am packing light due to no clothing storage in the rooms plus we will have 4 people so things r going to be little tight.

I finished my packing list. That gets me one step closer to the boat. 6 weeks from today I'll be at work, anxiously looking at the clock, being absolutely worthless. And I'll already be missing my dog a little bit. lol

I am the crazy neighbor who started with teh trainer. Unlike her, ggrrrr, I have a lot of weight to lose. However, 6 weeks in I am down 17 pounds and came off my cholesterol medicine this week. I hope to lose 30 by the time we sail. I will still hate wearing a bathing suit in public, but you do what you can...

;)First time cruising on the May 1st sailing. Have rooms on 9th and 7th decks. Any input would be valued. We are traveling with my two sons, 7 &4 and my inlaws. We both have Family Verandah rooms.

We will also be sailing on our first cruise May 1 on the DREAM! We are from Ohio, our children will be 7 and 13, both girls. We are so excited. Hope to meet some new friends. It's great that we can "meet" before actually "meeting."!

Welcome to the group Zornow3 and Coffeygirl!!!:thumbsup2 May 1st will be here really soon!!

We have a catergory 5A and are in 8084, which is midship near elevators!! Excited about teh verandah, even though we only got it b/c that was the room type available when I booked!! I can picture myself sitting on it in the sun reading a book...while DH is off with the kids!!! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the support!! The gym has become a part of my routine...speaking of which off I go!!

We are also going on our first cruise, May 1 on the DREAM! We are so excited. There will be 2 adults, and our kids- ages 13 and 7 at the time. I have a few questions. Any suggestions for activities for our child with special needs? How can we get in on the Fish Extenders- it sounds like a lot of fun! We will be doing 3 days at WDW after the cruise at Saratoga Springs. We are looking forward to meeting everyone and having a GREAT time!!! :yay:

Hello, zornow3! The link for our cruise FE group is here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2637619

If you want to sign up, let me know by April 1. The list of everything needed is on the first post, except that one participant has also requested the top the favorite characters of all the kids. I don't think that part is on the first post. Since you don't have 10 posts yet, you won't be able to PM me the information. If you want to participate, let me know and I will PM you my email address so you can send the information. Let me know if you have any questions!

We are in the middle of a huge snow storm...25-35cm by the end of the day :sad2:

But we will be spending two weeks in Florida prior to our cruise, so we only have about 3 weeks before we leave winter!:yay:

Good thing it wasn't today!

WE are so excited. This will be our third Disney Cruise but our first time on the Dream! It's a family affair: my husband and I along with our three kids, two sons ages 17 and 19 and my daughter who is 11! My boys will probably hang out together and my daughter wants to go to Edge. Does anyone have a daughter who is around the same age and might want to hang out? On previous cruises, she has always brought along a friend and it was great to have someone to share the fun.

Got my cruise documents in the mail yesterday! So excited! Yes, I know I don't really need anything in them but the luggage tags, but I still thoroughly enjoyed reading through it. I was also thrilled that they sent a separate packet to my parents at their address with their luggage tags. So they get their own booklet. Woo hoo!

Hi fellow cruisers! We are doing the Atlantis water park for our Nassau day via Comfort Suites......had to book 2 rooms to get enough wristbands for our family of 6 (4 per room). So, we have another two wristbands allowed for our rooms. Wondering if anyone is interested in sharing the cost of the second room in exchange for 2 of these wristbands. The cost of each room is approx $360 after they add all of the rediculous taxes and fees.......so half is $180. BUT....that is still much cheaper than the Disney excursion ($169)!!! $180 for 2 wristbands. We would have to meet at the hotel..... Just let me know if anyone is interested....trying to stretch every $$. :)
