Hi there. I will be travelling with my mom and two sons, ages 15 and 11. We are super excited to be cruising for the first time and to be a part of the Disney Dream. My mom and I took the kids to WDW in 2005 but thought with the boys being a bit older, a cruise would be a nice change. Anyone else travelling with kids around the same age?

I will also be on a Disney cruise for the first time, also going with my mom. My son is 11, but my daughter is younger, she is 8. We will be in Disney a few days before the cruise. Very excited, and glad not everyone will be with a spouse.

We have decided to not book any excursions. Last Nov we did the glass bottom boat in Nassau and were less than impressed...

I feel like it's almost within reach. I just got my paperwork to do my schedule for around that time; I was so excited to write vacation!!!

Welcome to the group, guelphgirl!!! We are cruising for the first time as well. We have a DS (10) and DD (7). We are all looking forward to our trip. It's now so close!!

Welcome!!! We are also on deck 8 in a verandah room. DH and I have a 7yo son and 9yo dau. We are also travelling with our neighbors who have a 7 and 9yo, both boys!!!

We just booked in Dec, which is how I ended up with a verandah!!!!!

We are on deck eight and also have a DD9...maybe they will meet in the club!

Sooooooo, I was wondering where everyone is staying the night before we set sail. We have booked at Pop Century. We just wanted a little bit of Disney before the cruise, to kind of set the stage for what's ahead. Anyone else going to be at Pop Century?

We are staying two nights at Beach Club Villas with our neighbors. No parks this time around just DDP, swimming & R&R to prepare. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Me!! My DBF and I are arriving at Pop Century on April 27th for a few days of WDW before the cruise

We'll be at the Country Inn and Suites at Cape Canaveral the night before. We're doing WDW for 4 nights after the cruise.

We are staying at the Residence Inn the day before. Just less than 8 weeks to go!!

We're staying at the Coronado Springs Resort (CSR) for a couple of days before the ship sails..I do have a friend who is staying at POP..so maybe I will run into some of you...counting down the days!!

Only 50 days away, peeps! Seems like just yesterday someone posted it was only 100 days away. I better start packing! lol

I know, can you believe how fast the days are flying by. I am sooo excited. 49 days til Sail-away but 47 til fly-away for us. We are keeping the trip dates a secret from the kids so they will sleep the night before, but they are stoked.!!!!!!!

I WANT MY ROOM ASSIGNMENT!!!!!!! I dont care where it is but it will be final when I get it. And I want in NOW!!!! I know I sound like a child but thats what Disney does to me. LOL.

About the packing, shhhhh don't tell anyone but I did it already. Its summer clothes so I an trying to under pack this time. I have it down to One large and One small check-in bags. All I have to do is unpack and wash them before we leave. I know, I am crazy!!!!!

Im pack too!!! My family and friends say Im crazy but I want to make sure I don't leave anything behind and also we are to waiting for our room Assignment maybe some pixies dust will work for the both of us =)

Yes, you people who have already packed are crazy!!!! Oh that I were that disciplined...

We're in the 40s until sail away folks...there's HOPE!!!!!

Thursday and friday are going to be in the upper 60s here, so we get a taste of the coming warm weather...finally.

Looks like our sailing is sold out. I don't think I've sailed on a full ship before.

Anyone else dieting before the cruise? With only 6.5 weeks left, I started back at the gym today. I need room to grow on this vacation!

They actually had Verandas open today for 2 adults $3700 I was looking to upgrade from our GTY inside but not for more than twice what I paid for my room!!!!

About the gym, yes I was going here and there whenever I felt up to it but I kicked it into high gear about 3 weeks ago. Not for weight loss but I do have to get into a swimsuit in front of people. I even followed a neighbors footsteps and I am trying a trainer for the first time ever. Man, let me say.......I am out of shape!!!! I am telling myself 6 weeks girl, you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyday I push myself just a bit harder.

byejou - good for you getting a trainer!! That's what I should really do. I am going to shoot for 3-4 days in the gym a week from now until we set sail. And cutting back on the eating, which to me is the even harder part! Good luck to you and have fun getting fit!

wow I need to jump on the bandwagon and get in shape with the rest of you guys =))) I think I will start tonight thanks for the inspiration and since the weather is soo nice here in orlando I should have no excuse to not go jogging tonight
